TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! DENNIS ANTHONY SAYS HE'S RUNNING FOR KANSAS CITY 5TH AT-LARGE COUNCIL DISTRICT!!!

Here's a message we received from a contender for Theresa Garza Ruiz . . . He even sent us a family pic, which is pretty brave for this dump of a blog

From Dennis Anthony: "I am also committed to run for the 5th District Council At-Large.

Retired City Code Enforcement Officer, and Retired Navy Commander.

Conservative bible-believing Christian running for the benefit of all Kansas City residents."

I'm pretty sure Mr. Anthony was recently honored with a resolution for his years of service in KCMO.

And so . . . For once there's a chance to talk about the issues of the 5th District and not just accept the mandate from the Kansas City Democratic Elite social club.

Developing . . .

    Mr. Tony,
He had my attention until he started a thumping and a humping the Bible. No good man would use the Bible to further a worldly career. But Teresa Garza? shoot, anyone else out there?

  21. I don't like the Bible-thumping either. After the last 6 years of listening to the conservative teabaggers, it's a turn-off. That being said, I know him and he's a nice and intelligent person. We could do a lot worse.

Theresa's series of abortions in the Navy gave her emotional problems which led to her obesity today. God's punishment for sure.

Theresa's mom's belly rubbing habit with KC mobster Tiger Cardarella, certainly did not please the Almighty.

Being the spawn of two generations of filthy women, Theresa's daughter turned to Whoring which God finds an abomination.

"Thou shall not bear false witness." "Judge not lest you be judged."

Anyone who believes that the Bible is the 'word of God' is an idiot.
Anyone who believes in God is insane.
Your hateful comment is typically Christian.

Theresa's poor daughter: "He who is without sin, let them cast the first stone."

An abomination? Jesus (a good man) said simply, "Go, and sin no more."

  31. There's got to be better candidates. Retired code inspector, really?!?!?! He told the community what they wanted to hear. Claimed he was over worked and passed his responsibilities off to others. Why do you think he was in hot water with his supervisors? He claims he retired due to health reasons and the stress of the job. I guess a council job is less stressful.

  32. Dennis R. Anthony8/8/13, 9:23 AM

It was my great privilege to be a Kansas City Code Enforcement Officer for almost 12 years after I retired from the Navy Reserve. I worked the job very hard, but it is not possible to please every person, 100% of the time. When I announced my retirement, Senior Managers and Supervisors with the City at various times took me to lunch and said I would be sorely missed for "the excellent job you have done". I retired because it was time to move Forward in other directions. I believe the plan set before me is to run the Good Race for Council, and if elected, to work hard for the benefit of regular people like You.
    thanks!

  33. Dennis how do you feel about old tires?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Dennis R. Anthony8/8/13, 10:57 AM

    I much prefer New ones...LOL!!
assuming we are talking of illegal dumping of tires, it's a very shameful thing that hurts us all. What is being taught in our schools?? didn't we learn the basics in Kindergarten? I regularly pick up other trash that folks toss out their windows near our church property and in my own neighborhood and it is pretty disgusting that "the world is our Trash can" (?) I stopped tossing stuff out of a car by the time I was 18. I am 63 now. Where are the parents? what are we teaching our children and grandchildren? Let's also closely examine the Kansas City public school district, and make improvements there. It's time!

    1. You are an idiot and should have done some research before you came in here. Toni with an I will give you a run for your money. You seem stupid enough people in the 5th are liable to vote you in. At least it's an at large seat and maybe someone with some sense will vote.

  35. Dennis, the districts in your council district are what you need to pay attention to. KCMSD will likely surpass Hickman soon. Clean your own mess first.

  36. Theresa Garza is CARPET BAGGING...she is moving from BLUE SPRINGS to rep a community she has never lived in just to advance her political career...that is called CARPET BAGGING.

--Regarding school issues, the 5th District At-Large member must be concerned with ALL Kansas City schooling issues, ....
not just within District. Each District has two council: One At-Large and One In-District person who focuses their attention within that particular District.

    I am running for At-Large.

You may want to know that she did not even sell the Blue Springs house. Her mother moved into it and is paying rent in the form of taking over the payments. TGR does not own property in KCMO.

Dennis look into how much property tax TGR has paid in KCMO and make an issue of it.

Regarding Troy, he has 13 bosses: the Mayor and 12 Council. We need to check and balance each other and keep each other Honest. Troy has asked me personally to help keep him Honest. Give him credit for that.
The welfare of all our people is at stake, and we must act ethically.
If any management person will not unselfishly discharge their responsibilities to 100% of their ability, they can go work somewhere else.
    thanks!

  47. Keep Troy? You just lost my vote

  48. Dennis, please do your research on Troys staff. Such as why there are so many Assistant city managers. How and why they got promoted. His department directors qualification and work history. His lack of accomplishments. Just read this blog about the Water department, traffic signal removal, only paving 3% of city streets and being proud of that, etc. I have a feeling you would probably be a rubber stamp for foolish projects like the street car, single terminal airport, and new downtown hotel. We need basic services.
