More than anybody else . . . A win tonight for Dr. Amy Hartsfeld shows Freedom, Inc. back to their winning ways.
We contend that everybody was tired of Joe Jackson and his antics but the loss of an incumbent from Airick West's board is a major hit . . .
With Melissa Robinson there are a lot of authors to her success . . .
To her own credit: We heard Melissa Robinson was a heck of a campaigner and it was probably her door-to-door efforts that really pushed her campaign over the top.
Most don't know but Freedom, Inc. backed Pattie Mansur.
While she's not a typical Freedom, Inc. candidate . . . She did come to them for support and earned it.
Now, think about this . . .
FREEDOM, INC. FLEXED THEIR POLITICAL MUSCLE TONIGHT WITH A MAJOR WIN IN THIS KANSAS CITY PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT ELECTION!!!
As the school board still faces takeover . . . There's no telling how this string of impressive victories will be interpreted but to be sure THIS MARKS A TURNING POINT AWAY FROM SCHOOL BOARD DIRECTOR AT LARGE AIRICK WEST'S KCPS REVOLUTION.

Freedom, Inc. didn't win. They got lucky that the voters supported the candidates they were endorsing. If you look at the race:

Joseph Jackson has virtually alienated all of his supporters. The people that did like him, he belittled, disrespected and lied on. The people who already didn't like him... all of the above voted for his opponent. It was anybody but Jackson. Folks could clearly see through his thin veil of arrogance, dishonesty and manipulation. It's a done deal.
I'll give Freedom, Inc credit, they did back Hartzfeld. She won't last long before we'll be seeking to remove her. She had an entire church congregation on her side. Freedom's endorsement hurt both of these candidates but voters went with the lesser of two evils in the case of Jackson v. Robinson.
Overall, I'll list this as a win. It should be easier to hand the school district over to Missouri now!

Freedom jumped on the Melissa Robinson band wagon. They definitely were not the only ones mad at Joe Jackson he has the personality of a door nob, not the most charming person. He had pissed everybody off. So freedom basically did nothing. Furthermore they were behind the Bonaye Mimms smear campaign and she still won. Patty is not going to be ran or influenced by Freedom. She would have won with or without them. They just went with her because she was going to win. They can claim a false victory if they want but when it comes to the third district at large city council they will turn their back on Dee and go with Crispin because they think he will win they have no political muscle anymore they are basically dick riders. so Tony quit kissing their ass

ReplyDeleteIt's about getting the same old grifters' snouts back into the taxpayer trough and resuming the Clinton Adams employment agency scheme of hiring unqualified family and friends.
For a while these folks were blocked and tried to get their hands into the Hickman Mills till, but it looks like that didn't work out so well, so THEY'RE BAAACK!
Another lost generation unless the state finally does what they need to do and takes over.
And it shouldn't be a surprise that governing a large complex organization is way too much for people who couldn't run a lemonade stand and are mostly interested in how important they are and what they can do for their friends.
So now there are a couple new people who might even briefly try to do what's right for the kids. But they'll be hearing from the usual suspects soon enough.
