TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL UNANIMOUSLY PASS LGBT RIGHTS RESOLUTION OPPOSING MISSOURI 'RELIGIOUS LIBERTY' BILL!!!
Here's FIRST look at a surprise move today from Mayor and City Council amid the ongoing culture war and move for "religious liberty" in Missouri that many claim would discriminate against the LGBTQI Community.
Check it:
Resolution 140201: Establishing additional priorities for the Missouri General Assembly’s 2014 Legislative Session opposing Senate Bill 916 and any similar legislation that would preempt the City’s civil rights protections based on sexual orientation and other categories not included within the Missouri Human Rights Act, and supporting passage of Senate Bill 757 and any similar legislation that would extend the protections of the Missouri Human Rights Act to include sexual orientation or gender identity, and directing the City Clerk to notify members of the Kansas City delegation to the General Assembly and the Missouri Municipal League.

No surprise, it's like everything else they are rubber stamping down there.
Find me one bill with a Nay coming from any of these nitwits.
ReplyDeleteBut we need to catch up with Portland, and everyone else Mr. 5:38! Rubber stamping makes us look fast! And competitive!!!
ReplyDeleteWomen is fine (actually great).
ReplyDeleteGuys is gross.
could we modify the resolution?
Worthless piece of legislation. No effect whatsoever in Missouri. No such bill was ever passed in Missouri. Why is the Kansas City Council always responding to legislation in other STATES?!! They refuse to look at the serious issues before them. Shame on this council. Waste of time.
ReplyDeleteThis is good for KC, get over it haters.
ReplyDeleteGood thing that all other important issues have been resolved in KC. We have the luxury of worrying about things that are irrelevant. Now issue some debt, hire some consultant friends, and keep these softball feel good resolutions that don't mean shit rolling.
ReplyDeleteThe state is just as stupid focusing on peoples sexual lives and their reproductive rights. They don't give a shit once they're born (unless they turn out gay) but the state legislature is obsessed with fetuses despite having a myriad of real issues it could worry about.
Broken decrepit infrastructure and a toy train to nowhere, but folks can ass-pound each other on a blanket in Loose Park.
ReplyDeleteKeep making big strides KC!!
Pandering to the gays, progressive leftists, and the man hating fema-nazis.....Time to dig in the pockets of your strategically ripped and distressed skinny jeans and donate to these kind KC politicians.
ReplyDeleteSeems to me a vagina offers way more than some mans ballon knot. But hey, that's just me.......
ReplyDeletePandering? You call it pandering? Did football give you a head injury or is it the beer bubbles that cloud your thinking?
ReplyDeleteDiscrimination against one or all is wrong. This was the right thing to do.
ReplyDeleteWhen is the council going to join Crimea and pass a resolution making KCMO a part of Russia?
ReplyDeleteThat would sure be a big step forward for the rest of the metro!
Your fucking stupid
ReplyDeleteGet down! KC loves the filthy buttsects
ReplyDeleteLarchmont @ 6:21 scores the WIN!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is some real talk right there. KC priorities are all out of shape.
ReplyDeleteSo sick and tired of the constant attention about gay rights.
ReplyDeletei don't care what LBGT does as long as i can watch
ReplyDeleteWell this should make Glazer and Byron happy.
ReplyDeleteIf you are tired of hearing about giving rights to gays, then just give them their rights. Simple solution.
