Accolades poured in Friday for the businessman, who was one of Kansas City's top civic leaders. Kemper died in California on Thursday night.

Crosby was one of the finest men to ever set foot in Kansas City and the town will surely be poorer without him. Yes, his family was the United Missouri Bank side and his cousins, the Commerce Bank side. Without question, one of the most influential families KC has ever seen. RIP Crosby...
