TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! BUCKLEY BOWS OUT: STILL NO OPPONENT FOR MISSOURI HOUSE REP. JEREMY LAFAVER FOLLOWING HIS EPIC POT BUST!!!

This year's embarrassing weed bust of Missouri House Rep. Jeremy LaFaver pretty much made a joke out of just about every statewide Missouri Democratic Party politico in Kansas City.

What followed was a mostly racist effort to forgive the foibles of the elected official despite the fact that drug crime mercy is noticeably absent from the urban core and minority offenders caught in similar circumstances. In the aftermath a GOP dude made an odd and ill-timed announcement regarding his intentions to run against LaFaver.

Now it seems that same GOP dude has changed his mind and probably realized there's no way a Republican will win that seat.

The latest from Fred Buckley in a kind Christmas message sent personally to TKC so we would know "from the horse's mouth" and "in case you'd like to talk directly to me instead of about me" which is always a good idea.

Fred Buckley Seyz: "Ladies and Gentlemen, after a wonderful Christmas with my family and a lot of discussions with my wife, I have decided to withdraw from the race for State Representative of the 25th District. It is with a heavy heart that I make this decision, as I believe our district needs better representation than we are getting right now. However my family and my business must come first.

After spending 3 years in law school, it is time to focus on building up my law practice, serving my family and being a husband and father. I look forward to the day when I can serve you in some capacity. I hope that our current State Representative will work hard for the district and start setting a good example for our younger generation instead of the examples he has set in the past."
########

That last line offers a nice stab at the Missouri political weed smoker even if there's nothing to back it up.

Fred's website has 404'd and for the moment it seems as if a weed bust politico will be representing one of the richest districts in Kansas City for a second term.

Accordingly . . .

KANSAS CITY DEMOCRAT INSIDERS SUGGEST THAT IT MIGHT BE EASY FOR LAFAVER TO WIN REELECTION DESPITE HIS WEED BUST!!! THERE'S AN ACTIVE EFFORT TO SUPPRESS ANY COMPETITION AGAINST THE POLITICO GUILTY OF WEED CRIME!!!

And once again, like so many other Kansas City politicos . . . The political career of Jeremy LaFaver started with a lot of high ideals (giggle) and promises but has evolved into nothing more than an effort to stay in power.

Developing . . .

  3. It was epic because he's an elected official. If he wasn't they would have sent him straight to jail.

    1. Pot possession is a misdemeanor with a fine of not much more than for expired tags. Not epic at all, pol or not.

  4. He should move to Colorado. Weed is basically legal there now.

  6. Marion Berry. Oh never mind, he was black and that's okay.

  7. For a politico in KC to get busted for just weed is amateur night. If he's serious, he should be aiming for shakedowns, extortion, insider dealing, and job offers based on public contracts.
And he'll find the local competition to be really fierce!

  8. Time to focus on building up my law practice, serving my family and being a husband and father so I don't get carried away and start sexting this early in my career.

  10. If this guy makes it back into office, then you deserve absolutely EVERYTHING that can be done to you both legally and illegally, I have no pity for functional retards like the voters that would allow this piece of shit to serve another term

  11. Lawmakers who break laws should not continue to be lawmakers. Make weed legal. Until you get that done you don't get to get caught the law and remain a lawmaker. Oh but wait - this is MO/US politics. The crooks run the show. Money makes it happen. It's all decided before a single vote is cast. The public is asleep enjoying what they are fed is the good life - or as good as they can ever get. Wake the fuck up people!

  12. Yes, and make not paying your taxes legal also. ha ha

  13. Smoking weed isn't breaking the law. Crashing a car while with booze and pills is breaking the law.
