Another sign of frustration and hopelessness in a nearby school district . . .
Newspaper: "Kansas City police arrested two parents Tuesday afternoon at an elementary school after one of them allegedly chest-bumped the principal and kicked over a flower pot in a dress-code dispute. The incident erupted about 12:10 p.m. at Burke Elementary 11115 Bennington Avenue in the Hickman Mills School District."
Remember that earlier this year a parent allegedly slammed a teacher's head into a file cabinet in front of a room full of students.
The lesson here . . . Violence is on the uptick for Hickman Mills School District . . . Some blame "changing demographics" while others note significant changes in Administration and their school board causing overall cultural and political strife. Whatever the case . . . It's clear that some education in conflict resolution might be in order.
