TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! JACKSON COUNTY PAYS BIG TIME FOR 'PERSONNEL MATTERS' IN THE MEAN JEAN PETERS BAKER PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE!!!

It's hard to find happy employees working for Jackson County amid current political epoch.

Layoffs, patronage, everybody jealous of cutie Cathy Jolly and her AWESOME part-time job have created turmoil, bad morale and legal problems @ The Courthouse.

To wit . . .

KANSAS CITY INSIDERS OFFER DETAILS OF BIG MONEY DRAINED FROM JACKSON COUNTY BY MEAN JEAN PETERS BAKER'S PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE OVER "PERSONNEL MATTERS" AND EMPLOYEE DISCONTENT!!!

From more than a few insiders we know the animus among Jackson County workers is due to politics taking precedence over the effective management of County business.

Just a few examples . . .

- Mean Jean spent most of late 2012 campaigning for Claire McCaskill after a victorious stand against Bishop Finn. Her absentee style of leadership in office has resulted in a great many complaints and coincided with a MURDER SPIKE @ A 4 YEAR HIGH IN JACKSON COUNTY!!!

- C'mon everybody knows the Jackson County Exec Mike Sanders HATES hanging around the office too much. And he has been more concerned with Missouri Statewide Democratic winning where was undoubtedly successful in helping to sweep top ranking seats for Democratic Party Players.

- Finally, Crystal Williams desperately wanted out of the County too . . . And most of her term has been dedicated to a FAILED attempt to garner a State Senate job.

And so . . .

MEAN JEAN PETERS BAKER'S OFFICE DESPERATELY NEEDS CASH TO QUELL "PERSONNEL MATTERS" THAT COST JACKSON COUNTY TAXPAYERS BIG TIME AND DRAIN PRECIOUS RESOURCES!!!

Better than opinion . . . Kansas City Insiders have PROOF that Jackson County cash has been drained by personnel bickering . . . Check the legislation smoking gun . . .

"A RESOLUTION transferring $130,000.00 within the 2013 General Fund for use by the Prosecuting Attorney's Office to cover the costs of outside attorneys' fees related to personnel matters."

It gets worse . . .

"A RESOLUTION transferring $87,444.00 within the 2012 General Fund and $35,793.00 within the 2012 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund for use by the Prosecuting Attorney's Office to cover the costs of outside attorneys' fees related to personnel matters."

You read that right . . .

DESPITE SO MUCH ANTI-CRIME TALK . . . $125K WORTH OF COMBAT MONEY WAS USED IN 2012 TO PAY FOR "PERSONNEL MATTERS" THAT HAVE SPIKED AMID THE CURRENT JACKSON COUNTY POLITICAL EPOCH!!!

And so, we'll keep digging on this story and there are a few open questions we have out there . . . But despite so many promises of "reform" we see that the overtly political Jackson County leadership has failed to keep employees happy and this fact is costing everyone big time.

  1. Better headline: Jackson County anti-drug tax pays for mismanagement.

    Typical situation in KCMO.

Why was this gravy train given to outside lawyers when the county has on staff lawyers in the County Counselor's office, (run by a retired judge) who are easily capable of handling these cases?

You know the difference between the prosecutors office and the prison population?

The Prosecutors go home every night.

  5. Why don't we have a murder problem in Clay County? Why not a murder problem in Cass County? Why not a murder problem in Platte County? Kansas City is in all these counties, yet only one has a murder and violent crime problem: Jackson County. Interesting.

  6. Mean Jean is not leadership material.

  7. This money came from the line item " prosecutor salaries" which means she is compromising public safety. Unbelievable.

  8. ...and don't you worry folks. That sucking sound you hear over the next few months will be the sound of money flying out to cover more county mismanagement. Never fear though; The dumb asses of Jackson County will sit right there and watch it happen as if they are spectators rather than those who are footing the bill. This culture didn't happen by accident. They work it like this because they can.

  10. Maybe she is just getting rid of some of the dead wood that has plagued that office for so long. If this is the case, it's worth every penny.

  11. What about the dead woodthat plagues the city Gary?

  12. nepotism kills just about everything in this town. this is no surprise. it's not so much a matter of being jealous rather than given a fair opportunity for advancement.

  13. What started out as a case of Slys James New Clothes now has KCMO looking like the world’s biggest nudist colony, with everyone in the long chain of power and authority at City Hall admiring each other’s splendid new (imagined) pimp suits.

  14. Jean, Sanders' puppet, is part of the dead wood that needs to go. One word to describe her leadership style: feckless

  15. Our so called "civic leaders" want to give this group of clowns an additional $40,000,000 annually?

    ReplyDelete
  16. How much do you want to bet that she runs unopposed in her next election?

    ReplyDelete
  17. WHO GOT THE MONEY????
So we know money got transferred, but WHO GOT THE MONEY????

    ReplyDelete
  18. The lawyers defending Jean against Brian Klobnak, Bryan Krantz, and the other guy for employment discrimination are getting the money. Do a FOIA request from the County.

  19. Will NOT vote for Mean Jean for AG. I don't care if Claire runs her campaign.

  20. Yo Orphan. +10 for that one.

  21. "victorious stand against Bishop Finn."

    Did he go to jail?

    ReplyDelete
  22. No, he wasn't even CONVICTED. For those of you who don't know, there is a BIG difference between a suspended EXECUTION of sentence and a suspended IMPOSITION of sentence. If this Bishop Finn received a suspended EXECUTION of sentence, it means that the pedoBishop has a CONVICTION, an indelible mark on this record that could be taken to the Vatican. This CONVICTION would be enough to ex-communicate the son-of-a-bitch. INSTEAD, Bishop Finn, through the sophistry of JaCo politics and courtesy of Judge Torrence, received a SUSPENDED IMPOSITION of sentence - which means that after the probationary period expires in a few months, all records will be closed, and the right honorable bishop can claim on a job application to Quik Trip that he was never convicted of anything relating to covering up kiddy pr0n.

THIS is why the Vatican and no one else is going to do SHIT to Bishop Finn. So pass the collection plate and praise God from whom all blessings flow.
