Fear The Painfully Awkward Kansas City Chiefs Win Streak Workplace Analogy

It's official . . . The Kansas City Chiefs Win Streak is old news and kinda boring now that YOUR PAIN-IN-THE-ASS BOSS is constantly using Chiefs metaphors and analogies in the workplace. No, there's no multimillion dollar signing bonus . . . Just a guy who looks way too much like Andy Reid feeling strangely confident about giving dumb orders and hoping that good luck will guide most of his bad decisions.

Today's example . . .

From The NextKC blog: What can your company learn from the Kansas City Chiefs this year?

  5. Boss: OK, huddle up! Huddle up!

    Employee: What up coach?

Boss: After your piss poor performance last quarter, HQ is implementing new rules.

    1) You will pay to park in the employee lot while on work premises.

    2) You will pay for your work uniform.

    3) If you choose to eat in the employee cafeteria, you will note a significant increase in prices. Our aim is to take advantage of you.

    4) When entering the building, you may only carry in what fits inside a clear ziplock sandwich bag. This is for your own protection.

    5) Those found to be critical of management will have their employment contracts cancelled for violation of company policy.
