Tonight we learn of a reality check regarding the improvement at our beleaguered school district:
"Two juveniles are facing rape charges after a reported rape at Southwest Early College Campus in Kansas City, Mo.
KMBC: 2 teens charged with rape at KCMO high school
Fox4: A police report stated that a 17-year-old girl told school officials that the two boys grabbed her and took her to a secluded room on the school’s second floor to carry out the rape.
While there's not a category on MAP tests for this kind of atrocity, realize that violence in and around schools has been unchecked and largely under-reported and remains a big part of the reason for a mass exodus from the district over the past generation.
