KANSAS CITY INSIDER: CAR TROUBLE FOR MAYOR SLY AND SON FORESHADOWS FUTURE POLICE LOCAL CONTROL CONFLICT



Kansas City Mayor Sly James recently pulled a few strings for his son Kyle.

Mainstream media kinda ignored the controversy and only mentioned it in order to offer the Mayor YET ANOTHER PASS for his contradictory decisions.

However . . .

KANSAS CITY INSIDERS CONTEND THAT MAYOR SLY'S CAR PROBLEMS OFFER A PRELIMINARY GLIMPSE AT TROUBLE THAT WILL ARISE IF LOCAL POLICE CONTROL BECOMES A REALITY!!!

"This is a clear case of the Mayor using his office in order to garner a service that isn't available to residents," The KC Insider said. "If your car is towed, go call the office of The Chief of Police and go see how far it gets you."

Furthermore . . .

The KC Insider argues: "For all intents and purposes, the Mayor has local control given this incident. There really isn't any need to mess with a system that works. Clearly the Mayor can garner whatever favors he wants but I'm not sure extending that same privilege to the City Council is the right thing. It's certainly not a benefit to the city to politicize the police department even further and from this incident, that's the only result that local control will offer."

Sadly, this story doesn't have very good visuals so TV news hasn't picked up Mayor Sly garnering favor for KJ's car.

However . . . It's important for residents to witness a real world connection to Mayor Sly and his hip-hop son KJ despite their mainstream media instance that they're not linked.

    So by reading the original story, it says that the car is registered to the mayor but driven by KJ. If that's the case then the parking warrants must have been to the mayor is he is the registered owner. I know they are just parking warrants but nonetheless our mayor had warrants. Stay class KC

    so what else is new. if that was any other citizen they would have been given a free ride to 12 and locust. the chief needs to straighten this out and ignore the mayors requests for favors. but of course this wont happened because they are black

    1. What happened to the warrants? Warrants are public record.
    2. Any public figure with half a brain would have followed the procedure and the letter of the law to avoid any perception of corruption or favoritism.
    This is exactly the way Darryl Forte operates and apparently he has James doing the same. Forte plain and simple does whatever the hell he wants. The Board of Police Commissioners is totally done with him and unable to control him. That is why the BOPC president Pelofsky is RESIGNING. The BOPC are all spineless and to a person refuse to do anything to the first black police chief. Forte knows this and is empowered to do whatever the hell he wants.

    Again 7:48 and 8:13 race is a red herring. It might be why the BOP is hesitant to act but the real issue is the same as in the MODT dumping story above...One set of rules for you and I and another set for them (the ones in charge regardless of race)

    Race is just one of those things they keep us up in arms about while they laugh. Remember these public authority figures right now might be black but wealthy whites still own everything in KC and donate to their campaigns. They couldn't get in office without them. So who is really behind it? The black faces just keep the eastside quiet and looking the other way and mid-town whites are too afraid of being called racists.

    Again race, like class, is just another tool.

    how many times does the mayor have to call in favors to protect kyle. any other citizen would be in jail the first time which was at power and light when he was drunk the black major gave him a pass and then brookside he got into a fight and the police took him home. how many times have the public been given a free ride home by the police
