The error that occurred was the part owner of the vehicle was elected mayor,so he should pay like we all do.

ReplyDeleteIf my car ever gets towed for displaying expired tags, I'll call the Chief's office, tell whoever answers there that there's been a "miscommunication", go pick up my car without paying and, let hem know if there are any outstanding fines, etc., I'll pay them later when it's more convienient for me.
It is NOT normal to have the fees waived. The car was not drivable and parked on the street with expired tags. The ticket and tow were both legitimate and the fee should not have been waived. The warrants to the license plate is a non-issue, as the car wouldn't have been towed for that anyway.
