TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! ELECTION AFTERMATH: MISSOURI SEN. PAUL LEVOTA NOW THE NEW POWER BROKER IN EASTERN JACK!!!
Kansas City Insiders want to draw out attention to a political development that has remained under the radar until now.
To wit . . .
BEHIND THE SCENES MISSOURI SEN. PAUL LEVOTA SCORED A MAJOR VICTORY WITH HIS SUPPORT OF THE NEW SUGAR CREEK MAYOR AND A NEW COUNCILMAN!!!
Sure, most people don't believe that a Sugar Creek election win can influence Kansas City voting but the power move has a series of important implications that shouldn't go ignored according to KC Insiders.
Accordingly . . . Here's some background . . .
- The new mayor in Sugar Creek changes the political guard that goes back to the Pendergast era according to Insiders. "This really is quite a victory and a sweeping change from the status quo," said an insider. "I'm surprised people haven't taken more notice of the win because the previous administration can trace its roots to power back for almost 70 years and well beyond their incumbency."
- Sen. LeVota wielding his influence in this election reveals that he's taking an active role in the political make-up of his district. His involvement in the election might have been the deciding factor.
- And of course this has implications for Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders . . .
Regarding the new election influence of Sen. LeVota . . . A Jackson County Insider explains . . .
"State Sen. LeVota certainly scored an important upset that showed everyone he has a great deal of political capital to expend. This wasn't just a successful endorsement, this was a glimpse @ Sen. LeVota building important political coalitions."
How does this effect the County Exec:
"There's no secret that the political rivalry between both to the LeVota brothers is still in play. We all like to pretend that it isn't there but these are two elected officials with decidedly different approaches to local governance and both are now competing for influence. In this instance Sen. LeVota came away with an important win."
The aftermath:
"Watch for this: Now somebody who might want to launch a campaign against the County Executive has someplace to go as a starting point. This really is a case of two competing camps and no longer just one leader of Eastern Jackson County."
The involvement of The County Executive in the State Democratic Party is cited as a reason that he might not have been "minding the store" in Eastern Jack. Nevertheless, what we're seeing here is the political landscape continuing to evolve around County Executive
Developing . . .
So is he going to turn Sugar Creek into a new hipster haven? Send us your poor and broke Ninjas!
ReplyDeleteMike should give up that State Chair thing and bolster his base in the County. Levota is.

Levota = severe underbite. Not very attractive or confidence building.
ReplyDeleteAnd Paul is only in his third month. Lookout Mike a new Sheriff in town.
ReplyDeleteThe politics of eastern jack is always shifting , this is no big deal. The king is dead long live the king.
ReplyDeleteWith a Senator taking this kind of hands on approach there is an agenda here.
ReplyDeleteMike is still the most powerful person in Jackson County.
ReplyDeleteIn his own toupee-covered mind, perhaps.
ReplyDeleteHe is the love child of Bob Odenkirk and Kevin James

ReplyDeleteSugar creek mayor...a big win? BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAHHHAH!
ReplyDeleteBAHAHAHAHHHAHHHHAHHAH!
Who was the crazy wench who grabbed the mic at Sanders' fundraiser? First the Mayor has a psych case grab a mic and now another one shows up at Sanders' event wanting to talk.
ReplyDeleteMy God that bitch was awful. Multi-colored Karen Kornacki-style hair and a zebra-style coat. Old as the fucking hills and a nasal voice screeched across the mic. Who the fuck wears a zebra coat other than a zebra?
ReplyDeleteMike got handed his ass tonight. Dutch was the best thing in the room
ReplyDeleteI think he said that screed works for the county so it could not be Dutch.
ReplyDeleteMichelle starting to look just like mama?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the help LaVota, I mean it. But it was the first time anyone had the courage to run against the Salva Crime Cabal. Mallinson had too much money to be intimidated by the usual bullying scare tactics an Average Joe would have been subjected to. Sugar Creek is a Standard Oil town still swimming in millions from BP. Mayor Roper reigned for more than 40 years, and the Kennedys would come visit him when they were in KC. Roper was a good man. His successors didn't look at the money they were wringing from Amoco/BP as the citizens' money. They thought it belonged to them. The ruling families of Sugar Creek are a bunch of pricks. They better hope Mallinson has mercy, and doesn't call in the Feds when uncovers the decades of malfeasance that people who are in power for too long get sloppy about covering up.
ReplyDeleteAnd that idiot Salva changed the city charter to make the mayor's term 4 years, instead of 2. Taking his cues from Hugo Chavez, he thought he'd be "Mayor for Life". It'll be four whole years before another douchebag Salva or O'Renick tries to grasp at what will never be theirs again.
ReplyDeleteIs there anyone who lives in Sugar Creek who does not have a birth defect?
ReplyDelete4/4/13, 10:14 PM
ReplyDeleteMichelle who?
OK, the stupidity of T's post/insider knows no bounds (i.e.- Phil, you are an idiot). The Salva's opposed Sanders BOTH times when he ran for executive. Also, Sanders fired their brother woh was the director of parks when he won. The animosity was real.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt, Sanders did not like the Salvas, and vice-a-versa. The Salvas had many many enemies and nobody was there to help them when the bill came due. Paul can take credit all they want about Mallinson's win (that guy worked his ass off), but the Salvas cooked their own goose.
The real loser in this: Emanual Cleaver, who relied on Stan and Ray for a big chunk of his support out east where he ha none.
director of parks
ReplyDeleteMichele Newman? Zebra woman?
How many people have died from leukemia because of Standard Oil in Sugar Creek? This place is a cancerous cesspool. Anyone?
ReplyDeleteDoes PAUL LEVOTA remind anyone else of Kevin James?? Everytime I see his pic I laugh.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Mark O'Renick. I won't comment anonymously because I have integrity. I learned those values from men like my Father, Jack O'Renick, from Charles Dumsky and Stan Salva. They were, like I am, a hard working man who is committed to giving back to the community to make things better. Volunteering on organizations, donating money, coaching kids sports teams, participating in churches, helping our neighbors. And putting our names out there to be trashed in the political process. For them, and for me, leadership is not about wielding power - but rather using influence for good. Anyone commenting here doesn't know me or my family or you wouldn't be lashing out with lies and false acquisitions. Personally, I don't care if you do because I know who I am and what I stand for. It saddens me though, that you may be missing out on an opportunity to come together and work with people in a positive fashion. If you have any interest in that at all - and you live in Sugar Creek give me a call - 816.809.4533. I have nothing to hide and always enjoy talking to people who want to make a difference and put time in making that happen. Or you can choose to hide behind a message board and lash out. You decide.
ReplyDeleteAnybody? ???? Damn! You people just got clowned! !
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised at the theme of anonymity with the comments here. I would never expect such petty, flagrant, disgusting rhetoric to ooze forth from any honest person with integrity. Unlike Mark, I won't respond so civilly to attacks on my family, especially when I'm not around to defend them. Your cowardly attempts to smear my family's reputation demonstrate to anyone with half a heart that you don't care about anyone but yourself. By the way, my grandfather, Stan Salva, is a hero to me - I really don't care what you or anyone else thinks. He raised me with integrity, as did dozens of others in Sugar Creek like Mark O'Renick. These men lead by example, they live their lives in service and constantly seek to better their communities and their families. One last thing - in response to one comment that stuck out to me: I've had a job since I was 15 and I paid my way through college, as did every other member of my family. I would be glad to send anyone a copy of my student loan report, which suffice it to say, I have quite awhile yet to pay off.
ReplyDeleteZach and Mark - welcome to the world of TKC Wher he promotes clowns like John Rizzo.
