BEHIND THE SCENES, EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT A CHALLENGE FROM KEN BACCHUS IS IN THE WORKS!!!
Councilman Brooks is done and yet another political vendetta from the Kansas City's Star has led to a disappointing public official.
Meanwhile, let's remember that former Kansas City Council Dude Ken Bacchus took a great deal of abuse in the last election cycle from folks who mistakenly thought that a a political neophyte and a pastor would make a better representative than a longtime insider with a troubled housing dept. history - Any credibility that theory might have held has now DISAPPEARED ALONG WITH KANSAS CITY'S MISSING $15K.
Not just because he's currently embroiled in the missing $15k controversy and has refused to answer any relevant questions but also because of more tragic details to come . . . City Councilman and Pastor Michael Brooks is now nothing more than a lame duck.
And so . . .
Look for political insider Ken Bacchus to reemerge onto Kansas City's political scene in grand style.
Any newbie who intends to challenge Mr. Bacchus will have to answer for the sordid and shameful tenure of Councilman Brooks. The Housing scandal from long ago actually works to the advantage of Ken Bacchus in the upcoming race because it seems antiquated when compared to the far more sexy missing $15k controversy.
And let's face it: There isn't anybody with as much political savvy, experience and connections as Mr. Bacchus coming out of the 5th District.
And so . . . It's really only a matter of a little more than a year until Ken Bacchus makes his triumphant return to City Hall and takes Kansas City BACK TO THE FUTURE . . .
