ReplyDeleteThe first lie, is that NIGGERS are somehow, human. Just not true. NIGGERS are fucking animals and dangerous ones at that. They are violent, dirty, thieving, murderous, lazy, smelly, ugly and just all around noxious creatures. There you have it. Any positive reference to NIGGERS is, therefore, a lie.

As only an occasional reader of the KC Star, I must nonetheless report that it seems Mr. Diuguid is obsessed with the negativism of race. Perhaps my memory fails, but I don't recall his positive reports on this topic. A fixation on the negative breeds more negativism (a racist behind every door).

1) "exclusion, bigotry and exploitation still occur despite the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and dozens of other..."
Mr. Diuguid may be surprised to learn that some people still rob, murder and rape despite laws prohibiting these acts for many generations now!
2) "an anti-discrimination program called 'Report it, Don't Ignore It!' funded with an $85,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development", in partnership with a local public relations company. Reports of discrimination tripled to 70-80 calls a month. "We're encouraging people to file complaints. That's what we're here for."
Does Mr. Diuguid understand that the $85,000 "grant" from a federal agency is taxpayer money that will NOT be repaid? That the primary beneficiaries of this program are those employed to oversee it, and not those who've experienced discrimination? That actively encouraging people to file complaints may contribute to false leads and an atmosphere of entitlement?
3) "The department is pursuing a discrimination case against a Main Street pizza restaurant whose deliveries stop at Troost Avenue on the east but extend to Mission Road to the west."
Here, Mr. Diuguid attempts to equate a concern over delivery driver safety with racial discrimination. Experience dictates that business owners will go wherever they can make money with a reasonable degree of personal safety assured. Would Mr. Diuguid like to debate the crime statistics of Troost versus Mission? Will Mr. Diuguid be leaving Kansas City to start a delivery business in Helmand Province Afghanistan, Basrah Iraq, or Aleppo Syria? I thought not! It's much safer to sit behind a desk and lament an imperfect world.
This guy is the Star's worst columnist and I consider myself more liberal than conservative. He is truly an idiot and sees racism under every rock. My favorite column of his was a few years back when the young flight attendent did the "eeney meeney miney mo" thing and he screamed racism just like the black ladies on the flight did. I am 15-20 years older than that flight attendant and I had NEVER once heard that saying with the word "nigger" instead of "tiger." Yet he was indignant that she had never heard this before and his solution was all parents should be warning their kids about racist little kid sayings. He is pathetic. Guarantee he will be the last person employed at the Star simply because he is black. He sure as hell is the most qualified to work there.
