The latest tragedy on Kansas City's Country Club Plaza brings to light an important trend that most are unwilling to witness.
To wit . . .
FLAMES ERUPTING INTO THE SKY LAST NIGHT SEEM TO REVEAL THE VERY REAL POSSIBILITY THAT KANSAS CITY'S COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA IS CURSED AND "EL DIABLO" WALKS ON THE WEST EDGE!!!
Let's look at the evidence . . .
The place was founded by a dude who pioneered racially restrictive covenants which are the basis of evil discrimination.
Recent flash mobs have showcased horrific behavior from local youth almost reminiscent of William Golding's 'Lord Of The Flies' . . . English 101 taught us that the name "Lord of the Flies" is a literal translation of Beelzebub -- Another moniker for the Devil.
One of the world's greatest architects blessed Kansas City with the Kauffman Center For The Performing Arts but his project in the area was destroyed and replaced with a bland box building.
Finally, remember that not so long ago there was a strange murder near this area involving a nun and her brother who almost seemed to be possessed in the aftermath of the killing.
And so . . .
The phrase at the top of this post is my take on a very common colloquial Spanish saying regarding Satan's path . . . In Spanish everything "walks" as opposed to American English where everything "runs" if working properly.
Anyhoo . . . All of this got me thinking . . .

Sure, this could be the post that marks my long voyage into genius/insanity . . .
But it's also something to think about when we attempt to explain this Kansas City tragedy in terms that ignore the root cause of so much evil in Kansas City.
