The movement is global but I see a lot of Kansas City signatures standing against Bishop Finn as well. Check the comments on the change.org document in order to read more than a bit of powerful testimony and personal stories against the Kansas City cleric who came up losing in a local child sex scandal.
You could get 500,000 signatures and the fucking catholic church will still prevail. They have for over two thousand years and nothing's going to change it. Screw them and their pedophile priests and bishops!

ReplyDeleteNeither you, nor the entire Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph exist at the very center of the universe.
In fact, as far as Catholic dioceses go, KC really doesn't rank that high, and nobody outside of KC really cares much who the bishop is, and is probably completely unaware of what hid did or didn't do.
So it could be this: Even if the pope were inclined to punish Finn, perhaps he thinks the most fitting punishment would be to leave him in KC.
The fucking Pope is a Nazi Youth alum, who would have been very happy had Hitler won the war and ruled the world.
