Clearly, Mayor Sly James has a beautiful smile and there's no one to challenge him on the Council . . . And nowadays, given falling revenues, fear over political influence and just plain voter apathy . . . Very few people are questioning the Mayor about Kansas City's money.

ReplyDeleteIf you want to be a reporter, ask what the money is for. Salaries have to have exploded. There isn't much else to spend on. Only the chief of staff should be at $100,000. Funkhouser gave his employees way too much. Sly must have even expanded on that.

Not that it takes actual facts to stir up the hayseeds that populate these message boards, but there are a few of us left in the reality community that like to have facts before making informed decisions.
