Meanwhile, KCPS supporters and apologists argue that the district continues to make progress toward full accreditation. Sadly, this story only confirms that a violent student taught a Vice Principal an important lesson on public education failure in Kansas City despite so many broken promises.
Gee, ya think these problem students are part of our "minority" population. Entire schools full of future prisoners. This is what I'm talking about guaranteeing failure in life. Not getting an education and involved in crime at a young age. I was no saint as a kid but I didn't hit teachers or get arrested. And I got an education. Can you imagine what it must be like to "teach" these imbeciles? I wouldn't try either.

It isn't a cool as the People Mover in Detroit. That's the monorail that was sold to taxpayers as a way to "fix" Detroit decades ago. It worked - in the same sense as neutering a dog "fixes" it!
Missouri needs to take over the schools. They are beyond repair.

ReplyDeleteWhy is KCMO the only district without school resource police officers housed in the building? The KCPD officers in this role work in the Hickman district. They even have SROs in schools. With way less violence like Shawnee Mission and North KC.
