Boy those new KCPD crime fighting programs are sure paying off. The new Forte Hot Spot and Hot Shot are sure stopping crime and homicides in KC.

So much unnecessary shooting in this town that the news media can't keep up. Now, they're picking and choosing which story is the most juicy. They go from nothing to report to flash mobs at the Plaza to uncontrolled negros lighting up the street with gunfire. This town is a joke. Where's the "for sale" sign?
ReplyDeleteI know for a fact that most emergency room drop-offs go unreported. What happens here is D'Qwan pulls up to the emergency room door, kicks Thirplus (who has been shot) out of his 1986 Caprice Classic and drives off. After awhile, Thirplus' family (all women) and fellow gangbangers show up to hopital where it becomes party/family reunion time. KFC and strawberry soda is brought. Security has to lock doors because word is out that Thirplus didn't die. The gangbangers plot their revenge while the entire group is parties like it's 1999 and completely insensitive to other people who aren't having as good of a time at the hospital. And the media doesn't usually find out.

A lot of shootings don't even make the news. I work in ems. I have run serious shooting that nobody ever reads about. I don't understand why the news is so selective about reporting some but not others.
