THE AEG SALE TRANSLATES INTO UPCOMING HARSH TIMES FOR THE SPRINT CENTER NOW THAT THEIR CONNECTION TO BIG TIME EVENTS AND SPORTS TEAMS IS SOON TO BE KAPUT!!!
Biz speak and reassurances regarding new owners is nothing more than marketing hype geared toward the naive and crooked real estate developers. The fact is that Kansas City's Downtown Arena is getting old, has never lived up to promises and is now less of a priority for a struggling operation.
Even better, I'm guessing that I'll get even less pushback in the comments because Sprint Center d-bags should be busy polishing up their résumés.
And so . . . While Kansas City is busy putting low-income home owners in jail, we can look forward to a bit more blight within the loop as the "Downtown Kansas City Renaissance" has failed to materialize and remains nothing more than than one of many expensive fantasies sold to voters.

With all the cities AEG has been in bed with over recent years the only thing to can do with all that money is hang it up. Otherwise Obama will have their tax rate at 99 percent.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what it will be like if other companies will now be able to lease Sprint Center at the rates AEG could. God, imagine that - fair competition. Woe is me!
As soon as that pro basketball team gets here the taxpayers will be saved anyway so what is the big deal? Seriously, you don't mean the dumb asses in KC got suckered again? Well, hell lets vote in some other pet project since Sprint Center is ruined and can never be used for anything good again.
