This afternoon The Kansas City Chiefs put in another mediocre performance with only a few bright spots that will give local sports newsies a reason to exaggerate about the chances of this under-performing pro-football franchise.

- Last 5 Minutes Of the 4th Quarter The Stadium Was Empty
The Final Score: 37-20.
Also, let's not forget that the play calling was mostly haphazard and inconsistent. Finally, what's exceptionally interesting is national commentators ripping the Chiefs while local media continues to make excuses . . . Nationally, Matt Cassel is regarded as a joke of a QB and the Chiefs as an amateur organization while the locals can't stop apologizing for the FAILED franchise.
The so-called "battle" for 1st Place in the AFC West wasn't even really a contest. And really, Lucy Collett posing in red lingerie is really far more entertaining than Kansas City pro-sports.

ReplyDeleteIt’s not just the obvious plays that Cassel blows, its the routine sacks, the inabilty to feel pressure in the pocket, the thousand yard stare at the one and only receiver he is gong to throw to, the short passes that hit the dirt when a defender even gets close, the 9.5 40 yard dash, the lack of any athletic ability at all.

Maybe Clark Hunt should call Scot Pioli on his “Obama Phone” (You know Hunt has one the cheap douche.) and ask him when this crap will ever, ever get better.
Oh yeah, thats right, Clark Hunt lives outta town and doesn’t wanna pony up for any unnecessary Long Distance charges.
4 years in and this football team, when you look at it from a sports standpoint, is as dismal a failure as can be found in any place in America not named Oakland.
I am sure Clark is banking some cash, but the face his family presents to a city where he owns a high profile business is an embarrassing disgrace.
These team owners don't care about us anymore Chuck. Long as the bag to the bank each week has more money than needed to run the team they are happy.

ReplyDeleteJust watch a Monday night or Sunday night game. That's when you will usually see a football team firing on all cylinders. Like Phiilly and NY last night. If Hunt won't spend money on the team, you need stop spending money on them. If you bought a chiefs ticket in the last three years you deserve the team you got.
