TKC EXCLUSIVE AND BREAKING NEWS INTERVIEW WITH MISSOURI LIBERTARIAN U.S. SENATE CANDIDATE JONATHAN DINE!!!

TKC is about nothing less than providing an alternative to politics as usual in Kansas City Proper and all of the other places we cover.

To wit . . .

AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE CURRENT STEREOTYPICAL HOT MESS OF A MISSOURI DEMOCRAT VS. REPUBLICAN U.S. SENATE RACE, WE OFFER THIS INTERVIEW WITH ANOTHER CANDIDATE THAT HAS BEEN OVERLOOKED!!!

More . . .

THANKS TO JONATHAN DINE FOR TAKING TO TIME TO COMMUNICATE WITH TKC READERS!!!

Jonathan Dine is confronted by two IMPORTANT questions in this interview and he clearly does an EXCELLENT job in addressing both concerns.

Take a look . . .

TKC . . . What are your thoughts on the Rep. Akin hot mess?

JD: "I felt that Todd Akin's comments were insulting and disrespectful to the victims of rape, insinuating that if they got pregnant their abuse might not be legitimate and that they could be lying or maybe at some level they actually wanted to have sex. His belief that a woman's uterus is equipped with some sort of rapedar shows a complete lack of understanding about the female body. I was shocked to learn that Akin sits on the Science Committee in Washington but fails to comprehend 8th grade biology."

TKC: Mr. Dine goes on to address perceptions regarding Missouri's political options . . .

JD: "I truly believe the political system would be better off if more acceptance and credibility were attributed to Libertarians and independents. Although third party's won’t necessarily come up with completely new stances, they are more likely to represent a combination of views. An Independent elected politician would be more apt to think outside the box to generate creative solutions instead of the recycled old ones the other two parties regurgitate year after year.

I think voters are tired of the Us VS Them mentality of the democrat and Republican politicians. It has become too hostile and counterproductive and turns off a lot of voters."

TKC: Why should voters consider your candidacy?

JD: "Voters should consider voting for me because I encompass the good qualities of both the major parties and offer an alternative to the failed two party system. I plan to stand up for your civil Liberties and freedom while lowering your tax burden and being a good steward of tax dollars. My socially tolerant and fiscally conservative views should be attractive to democrat, independent and republican voters in the general election.

Supporting my candidacy means supporting a genuinely, drastically lower tax level and smaller government across the board. We do not need career politicians telling us how to spend our money, Who we can love or what we can do with our own body. Its time to keep the democrats out of your wallet and the republicans out of your bedroom."

Mr. Dine signed his response to TKC questions: "Your Friend In Liberty" which seemed appropriate given his "Less Government, More Liberty" campaign slogan.

Personally, the thought of "holding your nose" while voting doesn't seem right and it's important to consider every option carefully. Mr. Dine's campaign hasn't received much coverage in the mainstream media and that's a shame because this young, energetic and idealistic candidate offers a viable alternative from the divisive rhetoric that currently defines our politics in Missouri and across the nation.

DEVELOPING . . .

Does he have a stupid son who hits people and has trouble with the police and cannot hold a job boxing groceries at Costco but dreams of being a hip-hop "artist?"

If not he does not have a chance at political success in this fair city.

  9. Maybe a Republican in drag, but better than Aiken.

  10. You can always tell a serious journalist when they use the phrase "hot mess" in an interview.
    Hahahahahahaha!

    ReplyDelete
  11. He has some good points, as do most Libertarians, but the media insist on viewing political races as if they were football games.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Thanks, Tony.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Thanks Tony for allowing another choice to consider. Never voted Lib....that has a funny ring to it..but might consider ti this time.

  14. He can't win.

I'll finish the great American novel as soon as you caan hit your ass with both hands.

    Don't hold your breath.

  16. Good interview. I'll vote for anybody but the two clowns in the media.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Democrap and Republican are nothing more than the different sides of the same worthless coin.

    ReplyDelete
  18. That sounds like somebody I can vote for! I cant pick between rich democrat who wants to spend my money and todd akin who wants to control my life.. I think this time I will vote Libertarian.

  19. Jonathan is an amazing individual with a great head on his (broad) shoulders. In our many conversations, I have found him to be genuine and intelligent with great goals and the drive to get there. In my opinion, this is a VERY easy choice.

  20. Well, if nothing else, JD, is an alternative to the other two; neither of which impress me to any degree. Too bad that third party candidates, some of which may be pretty good, are totally ignored by the major media.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Well, take it from one who knows, major media ignores third parties under threat of reprisal from the Rs and Ds. We are already hearing the subtle threats as Ron Paul hands over the reigns to Gary Johnson.

  22. Thank you for showing the readers that they do have a better choice. Jonathon Dine is one who is truly human and can actually relate to everday people in Missouri. He would be an excellent choice for the Senate.

  23. Nice try Tony, but here in Missourah we consider it wasting our vote if we pick the best candidate but expect him to lose. Please refocus on the Republicrats so we can continue to repeat our mistakes and vote for the horrifying winner!

    ReplyDelete
  24. If you vote for the lesser of two evils, you are still voting for evil. Dine is rational, is not corrupt, and will not intrude on your life or your wife's. Even if he doesn't win -- you like to pick the winning team? -- a vote for Dine is a vote against the slime the Republicrats are running.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I DO NOT support the Libertarian Party,

    ReplyDelete
  26. Libertarians are pro-legalized prostitution.

    ReplyDelete
  27. We already have legalized prostitution - its called congress.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Third party takes enough votes from Claire, Akin wins.

    ReplyDelete
  29. There sure does seem to be some negative & hateful comments but everyone is entitled to speak their mind, @ least for now. That right to speak is being curtailed even now.
I subscribe to the theory that if you vote to the lesser of 2 evils, you are still voting for evil. The republicrats have shown neither party can control spending nor do they lessen our taxes.
How about, for once!, that we vote for somebody besides the establishment? How about we vote MORE than once for somebody besides the establishment?
Our country is going downhill & the establishment is to blame. Vote 3rd party & independent. The (2) 3rd parties eligible in MO are the Libertarian & Constitution Parties. See Libertarianism.com & take the World's Smallest Political Quiz.
