It's Kansas City School Board election day and that's a bit deal for the few dozen people who actually make their way to the polls today.

Still . . . Today's vote is important and not just because there are SOOOOOOOO many residents running as write-ins.

TODAY KANSAS CITY VOTERS HAVE THE CHANCE TO KICK ARTHUR BENSON OUT OF OFFICE!!!



More than anybody else . . . Mr. Benson has been the architect of Kansas City Public School FAIL.

On the other hand, his competition is a young guy who has dedicated his career to helping kids.

In a recent debate, Hile faced off with Arthur Benson and said:

"One of the reasons I’m running is that I want all school board members to be both responsive to their constituents and proactive in their engagement of the community. I believe that our district can do better than the current school board member occupying this seat."

Clearly, Hile has a great attitude for a new School Board member AND I can think of about a BILLION more reasons to vote for Hile over Benson.

But . . . We'll have to wait and see how the three dozen Kansas City voters who decide this one will react.
