Most of Kansas City is fairly lackadaisical regarding the subject of crime and we only really acknowledge it when it's some place other than the Eastside.

Deservedly so considering the grisly reports . . . Still, the more skeptical among us (i.e. me) counters the typical ranting about the identity of the assailants with questions about the demographics of the victims . . . Given that media and most other people don't care or respond when poor brown people are injured by crime.

ReplyDeleteActually, most people DO care about victims of minority crimes. It's just that they're tired of hearing the same old excuses about minority criminals.
ReplyDeleteAnd the new crime plan IS working. That's why the bad guys are heading for parts of the city that aren't as well patroled.
But until there's some serious leadership in the black community that emphasizes parental supervision, personal responsiblity, and working with the police, the level of violence in KCMO will continue.
Instead, these "leaders" want more tax money for themselves. Think of all the Citadel Plazas we could have then!
Why the folks on the east side keep putting up with the same deadbeats is the real tragedy.

The lack of media coverage of this stat is falt out astonishing.
Tawana Brawley and the Duke rape case were immediately siezed upon by the mainstream media and pounded down our throats until the hoax was revealed.
African American violence is forgiven, obviated and purposely hidden by the media.
The LA Times, the Chicago Trib, the New York Times and mostly the KC Star just to name a few, will not name the ethnicity of the perps in order to remain PC.
While the American nation, Black and White refuse to acknowledge the horrific numbers that point in a unambiguated straight line reference from African Americans to crime statistics that wildly OVER REPRESENT the per capita actual numbers of African Americans in the population, then both law abiding Black and White Americans will continue to suffer and this nation will continue to diminish and die.
Multiculturalism and diversity are a pox on the American house and a cancer that has metasticized in our thinking.
Face the truth.
The truth does not fear scrutiny.

This a is very serious matter and imo, the female members of your family should be able to defend themselves, have a conceal and carry in addition to avoiding places where there are a predominance of African Americans.
Think about that statement.
On the one hand, if you say it outloud, you are a racist.
On teh other hand, if you send your daughters and wives into danger, you are a fool and an idiot.
This is why, Black and White Americans must scream teh names and ethnicity of the perps in these crimes.
The only way to solve the problem, is to FIRST, face the truth.

Cleveland, Ohio. A white man on a moped accidentally bumped into a truck being driven by a black man. He fell over but was not injured. A crowd of 40 white people pulled the black driver from the truck and brutally beat him. One of them climbed in the truck and ran over the driver, killing him. The crowd cheered.

In the city, the races live mostly apart from one another, so that the most convenient victims of thugs are others of the same race. Only a hunter's mentality could account for the data. Given a choice, a black thug will select a white victim. Ironically, so will a white thug."

This poor white guy had the misfortune of happening upon black people so they burned him alive. Mike Royko wrote a story about it shortly before he retired but I can't find the article he wrote. Had this been reversed there would have literally been riots in the streets. Instead, outside of Royko, you did not hear shit about it. So much of black culture is simply indefensible.
And let's not forget the one of the worst acts of black-on-white barbarianism that happened just down the road. Google "2000 Wichita Massacre." The crime is unbelievably shocking and so is the fact that NOBODY has heard of this crime outside of Wichita.
