KUDOS TO THE KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTER WHO SENT US EXCLUSIVE INFO ABOUT SOME OF THE FIRED EMPLOYEES COMMISERATING AT THE PHOENIX AFTER THEY WERE FIRED!!!

Still . . . There's a rumor that this recession is coming to an end but that hasn't stopped it from silencing the sound of Kansas City at this place for the past week . . .

  1. After this if they do re-open I'll never go there. This is perfect example of poor business practices and I wont' support it.

    Yeah me too.

    ARE YOU KIDDIN ME??

All of the ex employees are slinging mud over on kcconfidential.

Jesus, ya gotta read it, its wild!

Its gotta be the msot interesting place in KC to go for a drink for the next 6 months if it opens up again.

Drama, sex, drugs, anger, booze and jazz.

Thats as good as it gets.

  5. Just a reminder that tipping your wait staff or bartender in midtown means buying them their blow.
    Fuck em, get real jobs.

  6. Yeah 11:42 screw people that try to work. I guess you would rather have them out robbing convenience stores in KCMO, than working.

11:58 I'd be in favor of a European model where the restaurant or bar owner pays them a salary and therefore provides their cocaine/booze/party fund.

  8. The owner screwed over her employees. Why should anyone support her? In fact, this should be a warning to anyone thinking of getting a job there, this kind of erratic behavior is a pattern that has now been documented by the news.

  9. It's the owner that has the problem with "blow" in this case. Cocaine makes an addict erratic and paranoid.

  11. Let me repeat this --

Beena -- the supposed owner -- is a crook. Simple as that. The whole thing was a ponzi scheme with her investors to start with. She hosed her ex-husband. She fucked suppliers and employees alike.

Once a junkie and a whore, always a junkie and a whore...And I'm talking the real meal deal: A mainlining drug addict and hotel lounge working prostitute. Right Beena?

  12. hahahaha...she gives handjobs for $5 too!

  13. This kind of "open" law breaking is giving KC a bad name. It's bad enough with all the Homicides, now this.
