A HUGE RAP WAR IS RAGING RIGHT NOW IN KANSAS CITY!!! FACTIONS OF WHITE RAPPERS IN BROOKSIDE AND WALDO ARE MERCILESSLY ATTACKING ONE ANOTHER WITH ONLINE DISS TRACKS!!!
Background:
This epic conflict was seemingly aggravated by the antics of the Brookcide Bandits who are still the worst thing since Mac Lethal's hot mess.
Apparently, the Brookside Bandits are running amok and their white rapper skills (or lack thereof) even took aim at Kansas City's favorite blogger - TKC!!!
Their youtube video "Tea bag Tony" was just a sampling of their amateurish, poseur, cultural misappropriation of Kansas City hip-hop.
For this kind of arrogance, payback was inevitable . . . But it wasn't coming from this blog because I kinda thought they sucked and weren't worth thinking about for too long.
A heretofore unknown faction calling themselves THE WALDO WARRIORS have fired back at The Brookcide Bandits!!!
Recently, (and this part is a fact) a track from an annoy e-mail address showed up in my e-mail inbox that I thought might be noteworthy . . . The only identifying information was that it was sent courtesy of the Waldo Warriors.
Of course, I don't listen to any rap music made after 1990 so I just labeled the track "Brookcide Maggots" and threw it onto an online MP3 player for you d-bags.
From the few seconds I heard, I think the track is kinda clever in as much as I'll allow myself to enjoy hip-hop manufactured by white people (not much at all) . . . And NO, I can assure you that this IS NOT a track TKC put together not only because I find myself listening to more German-Ambient-House-Acid-Jazz but also because while Mac Lethal style nerdcore may be fine for white people to participate in . . . While I would risk being run out of the Westside for this kind of behavior.
I'm just blogging it . . . But this EXCLUSIVE story is interesting because it's Friday and I'm tired AND no other media outlet would have the courage to offer original reporting on a major rap battle between Brookside and Waldo. Only TKC can offer this live, late-breaking, in-depth coverage. Natch.
