TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! INCREASING LATINO POLITICAL POWER IN MISSOURI!!!
Yesterday, TKC was excited to be the first local media outlet to report that Mike Talboy was the first Latino to be appointed as the Chair of The Missouri House Democratic Campaign Committee.
As far as Latino representation in Missouri politics goes . . . The news is getting even better:
Here are a few other exclusive items and gossip regarding the political progress of prominent Kansas City Latinos in the Show Me State . . .
Word is Chris Moreno is on the short list to take the Executive Director job in the MO Democratic Party . . . There has been a lot of chatter regarding Moreno in Democrat circles given that he galvanized not only Latino but also urban support for Jay Nixon during the campaign for Governor. Moreno is undoubtedly a rising star in the Missouri Democrat Party.
Additionally, Jackson County Rep. Theresa Garza, Carlos Gomez of the Hispanic Chamber and Democrat political consultant Enrique A. Chaurand are members of the Jay Nixon's Citizen Advisory Transition Team. They're currently meeting with Nixon and his team to recommend Latinos for some serious positions and appointments to his administration.
All things considered, promises of change and hope are beginning to materialize for Latino political leaders who worked hard to deliver Democrat votes and represent a growing number of citizens involved in Missouri politics.

I had a latino threaten to "cut" me the other day because I was moving to slow in a line.
Stangely, no white guy has ever threatened to "cut" me, although one did say he was going to shove my old ass out of the way.
What is it with latinos and "cutting" people?

A lot of help Mr. Chaurand will be when the Funk comes calling on State issues... ah heck, the Smartest Guy in the Room won't need any help from Enrique, will he? He can continue on boosting Kansas City all by his lonesome self :) On the plus side, not having to deal with the Stupidest Guy on the Planet will be a relief to Mr. Chaurand and I suppose he will called upon by others for Kansas City issues... he can help them. No need to bother with the increasingly irrelevant and always difficult and vulgar lying two faced Mayor Smart With Nothinghouser, is there... is there Funk????

I'm surprised that latino was standing in a line. Usually, they shoplift whatever they want.
