TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! Where is Sharon Sanders Brooks going on vacation?!?! Will she be taking her boyfriend?

The override vote is Thursday if the City Council folk can pull it off (heh) . . . However, there are a factors that make the vote less of a sure thing than most people think.

Still, Council people who may or may not have flipped will have a tough time justifying their vote . . . Or at least that's what I hear from people who are way smarter than me.

What I find funny is the rumor that Council Member Sharon Sanders Brooks is going on vacation during this tumultuous time in Kansas City history.

I wonder how her constituents feel about that?

Do her constituents know that as Kansas City homicides ramp up . . . Their representative feels entitled to a break?

Do they know that their representative might be ducking out on a chance to vote down the lady who referred to a woman as "Mammy" in the Mayor's office?

I think there are a lot of things about this alleged, well-timed break for Brooks that people in her district are wondering about along with the long-standing and so far quiet question that people ask (under their breath) about her alleged "main-squeeze" and the lady's voting record.

TKC understands that City Hall can be quite stressful . . . So maybe she deserves a break and maybe voters might want to consider giving Brooks even more time off the next time she runs for office . . .
