Downtown KC Celebrates Fewer Parking Spaces At Barney Allis Plaza Groundbreaking

More promises from City Hall and a glimpse at even worse planning inside the loop . . .

The current parking lot boasts nearly 1,000 spaces but faced several violations for leaks, cracks, and overall damage through the years. The plaza and garage were constructed in 1955 and redeveloped in 1985. The anticipated completion for the redesigned plaza and garage is summer of 2026.
