Pete Mundo DESTROYS 'Lawfully Present' Argument Amid Sanctuary City Debate

In our blogging we use terms like "double talk" and "legalese" as a shorthand to describe the antics of politicos who are playing fast & loose with verbiage. 

However . . . For locals who want to hear the very BEST conservative discourse on the topic of recent Kansas City debate over sanctuary city status . . . 

PETE MUNDO TEARS APART MAYOR Q'S 'LAWFULLY PRESENT' ARGUMENT AMID SO MUCH CLAP BACK AGAINST THE RECENT NYC MIGRANT OPEN INVITE!!! 

We did our best to transcribe the EXCEPTIONAL argumentation . . .

"These are not people going through the immigration process, which we encourage and we love here in Kansas City and America. It's what this country was founded on. But that's not what we're talking about here . . .

"These aren't people going through the immigration process other than to illegally cross into the U.S. and basically tell them that 'yeah, just say that you're here seeking asylum and you're good for awhile.' Making blatantly false asylum claims should have significant legal consequences but they don't because the people in charge, in large part, are circumventing immigration law. And everybody knows what they're doing. So the only way you can call any of these folks 'lawfully present' is if you believe that the Biden Administration has the power to do what they've been doing and that they've not been breaking the law.

"There is plenty of evidence to suggest that they have been breaking the law.

"The ordinance did not get through committee . . .We will not get the full council vote on finding out whether or not your Kansas City, Missouri city council believe Kansas City should be or is capable of being a sanctuary city.

"And I would've loved to see that on the record. But here we are, and now we have to wait to find out if it's 50 or 50,000 people"
