Parkville officials confident downtown businesses won't be affected by flooding
Parkville officials said they are confident businesses in the downtown area will be safe from flooding.Water is expected to rise another 3 feet in Parkville Friday night. The Missouri River is expected to crest Saturday morning at 34.2 feet. Already water is reaching part of the parking lot outside English Landing Center.Three weddings are taking place at the center this weekend.
