    Of course if he had been black, the Black Lies Matter line would have been that he was unarmed, surrendering with his arms in the air, shot in the back while the officers stood over him and fired all their rounds and let the rioting and looting begin.

    The family had this guy for 50 years and not a one of them got him the help he apparently needed. Nevertheless, the police are expected to bring Dr. Phil and Benny Hihn and heal this guy in his own front yard on first encounter. Sorry for the loss, but not even Dr. Phil is gong to risk making a fifteen minute diagnosis while some nut waves weapons around. I'm sure the officer who fired has played the scenario over in his head scores of times considering what he should have done and I am sure IPD is about the crappiest department in the wild west. That still does not create a requirement for a yard full of social workers, shrinks and negotiators given the family has done virtually nothing with this loose cannon or his care and certainly didn't seem to have done a thing to keep firearms out of his hands.
