Transgender program on hold after Mid-Continent Public Library receives community complaints
Thursday evening, the space where the Buckner, Missouri, branch of Mid-Continent Public Library hosts its community events sat empty. The event space was supposed to be filled with attendees of the library system's second Trans 101 event, but the presentation was postponed.

ReplyDeleteThe four people who stopped this scheduled event threatened to organize a "boycott of the Library", but couldn't get any support for it after somebody figured out that meant nobody in Buckner would be able to get in the Internet or take home a DVD if they did boycott.
