Firefighters believe lightning started fire that destroyed Overland Park home
The Overland Park Fire Department believes a lightning strike caused a home at 146th and Nieman to go up in flames early Tuesday. It happened just after 1:30 a.m., and first crews on the scene reported heavy fire showing from a two-story, single family home.
I heard lightening that sounded like someone ripping a phone book in half.
