KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One person is dead after a one-car wreck at 88th and Ward Parkway. The car caught fire in the median between the northbound and southbound lanes of Ward Parkway. The northbound Ward Parkway lanes are closed near 89th. This is a developing story.

Police seek woman seen at Raytown Applebee's prior to fatal shooting
Breaking News Raytown, MO - The Metro Squad is asking for help to identify a woman after a 30-year-old KCK man was shot to death outside of a Raytown restaurant Friday. Police are trying to identify the woman seen in surveillance images and video captured inside an Applebee's restaurant on 350 Highway in Raytown.

Measles outbreaks costs Kansas City taxpayers more than $170,000
Kansas City's two measles outbreaks are over, but officials are just starting to calculate the costs of containing them. The Kansas City Star reports that the city deemed the outbreaks officially over as of Monday, when there had been no new cases in 42 days, or two incubation periods.
