KANSAS CITY STARTUP VILLAGE FAILS!!!

About 5 years ago the Kansas City tech scene started a "boom" that wasn't just about high-speed fiber but also hinged on the "creative class" and locals working together to champion new biz and investment. Sadly, the scheme didn't really work out and now there's a low-key retreat from so much speculative hype that FAILED to produce jobs or very much new biz. KCSF pivoting from Village Square coworking, eyes bigger impact

Village Square developed a waiting list soon after opening in 2015, said Adam Arredondo. But as larger coworking spaces with more amenities and resources debuted, interest waned in the 3,000-square-foot operation at 45th Street and State Line Road .
