NFL reportedly rejects Laurent Duvernay-Tardif's 'M.D.' jersey request
Come on, NFL. Kansas City Chiefs starting right guard and international hero Laurent Duvernay-Tardif made headlines back in mid-February when he requested that the league allow him to put M.D. on his game jersey. Duvernay-Tardif, 27, officially became a doctor this offseason when he graduated from medical school at McGill University in Montreal.
Glad he’s an M.D. because he isn’t worth a fuck at football.

ReplyDeleteI don't watch the Chiefs and got rid of all my Chiefs gear from the last 50 years last year. The NFL is a league of losers.
He may not legally identify himself as a medical doctor in the USA unless and until he is licensed to practice in one or more states. So the NFL is correct on this point, albeit unintentionally.
