Good luck with acquiring "black" contractors. Construction work is hard, you have to show up on time, be consistent and finish a quality job. There are very, very few "Black Contractors" on job sites, no one wants to put up with the shit they bring.
All in all though, this is a great idea, that should be used by Whites also.
Me, I only want to deal with white people, who are serious about completing quality work and take pride in their efforts.

^^^ I have worked for some black contractors before. Let me tell you what black construction owners do. They hire mostly white people, especially foreman, to run work. They know they can't have a profitable company employing only black people. As for other black owned businesses, if I need a weave I can go to one of the 100 hair places on Troost and get one.

ReplyDeleteThe solution to all these Black-White race problems must come from the black community, as they're the ones claiming to be victims. The perceived victim must take responsibility for their predicament and initiate change to improve their status.
ReplyDeleteIs the black family, strong and intact? Do they promote marriage, and marriage before having children?
Are black students excelling in school and taking advantage of all their opportunities? Do you see black students flocking to their local libraries?
Is the black community strong on law and order? Do they have a reputation of being pro-police and anti-crime?
Only the black community can solve their problems and lift themselves up.

ReplyDeleteI have no problem with blacks patronizing black owned business establishments over white owned ones, so long as they also rob the former at the same rate as they rob the latter.

ReplyDeleteDropping all references to color and creed is the only way to get rid of racism. The biggest racist are the blacks that keep pushing their color. Get over yourselves, stop shooting each other, speak proper English, pull up your pants and stop making up gibberish names for your out of wedlock children. That would start to get you all the respect you think you are missing. The whites are trying to do their part now your turn.
The children's book background will come in handy when dealing with the black contractors.

ReplyDeleteIf blacks would stop defining themselves by their color and Gays would stop defining themselves by their sexual preference then others would stop defining them by those thing too.
