As the Sunflower State contest for governor heats up, of course, the sordid topic of racism arises and targets the leading right-wing contender.
Recently, the local newspaper highlighted talking points from a political action committee linking Kansas Secstate Kris Kobach to extremeist and racist groups.
The article is somewhat interesting but nothing that hasn't been published previously. What's noteworthy is the Kansas immigration crackdown activist fighting back in no uncertain terms and blasting the newspaper with a ferocity that we haven't seen previously.
First, the push back on the MSM narrative . . .
The PAC’s 15-page report is replete with “allegations that are completely false,” Kobach said, adding that the accusations of his association with white supremacists and militias is “completely outrageous.”
“I don’t have any association with white supremacists,” Kobach said, calling the Star’s article “stupid” and “idiotic.”
And then, a clever refusal to play identity politics with the media.
“What’s the definition of a racist?” Kobach asked, after noting that purportedly leftist factions are increasingly using “racist” as a boilerplate insult. “A conservative who is winning an argument.”
Whilst SecState Kobach is often a punchline for our blog community because he's wicked smart, controversial in his tactics yet ultimately kinda boring in the personality department, there's no denying that he dominated this debate and turning the newspaper into an enemy might play to his advantage.

None of us, can blame those on the Left for their expectations of Trump’s removal. Bernstein is right, the 4th Estate’s contempt for the truth, made the ex nihilo fabrications of “Collusion” an accepted fact in the 24/7 news cycle. The “Russian Collusion Delusion” lived a full life on Cable News over the last 18 months and knew no senescence in spite of the growing and unambiguated evidence that in fact, the only “Russian Collusion” took place with the full support of the opposition candidate and the DNC. The greatest abuse of power scandal in American History continues to go under reported by loathsome, lickspittle ‘journalists’ who carry water for the left in agenda driven newsrooms filled with cowards, liars and toadies.
Deep State players in the FBI, CIA, NSA, State Department and the Obama Administration illegally, with premeditation, conspired to frame an incoming President with a non existent crime aided and abetted by the 4th estate.
Next up, for those ‘journalists’ finally bringing to justice, the “Real Killers” in the O.J. Simpson Case.
The deep state has 19 indictments, 4 plea bargains, and a host of cooperating witnesses. God bless the deep state!
