TKC QUESTION FOR KANSAS CITY CHIEFS FANBOYS: DO YOU SUPPORT NFL ANTHEM PROTEST CRACKDOWN???

An important question for all of Kansas City in light of an ongoing national controversy . . .

Check the headlines:

ESPN: New policy requires on-field players, personnel to stand for anthem

People: NFL to Fine Teams Whose Players Don't Stand During National Anthem and 'Show Respect for the Flag'

Daily Mail: New NFL's national anthem policy could fine teams if player kneels

Moreover . . .

Let's not forget that Marcus Peters kneeling during the anthem was a major factor in his trade.

To be fair, as long as the sentiments are right wing, national anthem & flag desecration by the home team and their fans is commonplace and the "Home of the Chiefs" Kansas City tagline for the anthem typically earns complaint from patriot purists.

Still, the move seems to be a very big way of offering appeasement to Conservative critics.

At the height of the controversy, let's not forget that Chiefs fans were burning their merch.

WILL THIS NFL CRACKDOWN ON NATIONAL ANTHEM PROTEST SATISFY CONSERVATIVE PRO-FOOTBALL DETRACTORS!!!

Meanwhile, Kansas City fans are less concerned about the lasting impact of chronic concussions on players and/or the tragic fact that the new QB might be enjoying too much hype before he has finished a single NFL game.

You decide . . .

  1. They should have done this LAST YEAR.

  3. they figured out that this is in their self interest. they care about self.

it's strange, however, that they couldn't have figured it out last year.

  4. Screw the NFL PINKO'S. No NFL here, and when I see little wussy Chiefs shirts I will call you for what you are a PINKO LOSER!

Letting them go into the locker room to act like the dirty people they are is NOT bad enough. Angry Black losers who go home and beat their kids and wife!

  5. Who cares? Real Mericans’? Please. These phony patriots are just big a bunch of white trash as those Chiefs fans.

  6. The national anthem does NOT belong in sporting events! Take it out!

  7. People who worship Trump, Buffet, Gates, etc. shouldn't have any problem worshiping rich football players. But, should people really become millionaires because they won a genetic lottery?

Yeah, I'll rout for rich men beating each other up, just as I masturbate to pictures of young, pretty royalty. It's my private class war.

  8. NFL ia a day late and many dollars short for not going ahead and doing this at start of last year which they had the power to do so. Now that all the facts are in and the last dollar counted in revenue from last year the situation hit them in the billfold for sure and now they want to fix it.

Was all just about the money, if it had anything to do with being patriotic it would have ended two to three weeks after the first incident.

  9. Another reason to dump the NFL!! Good riddance!

    ReplyDelete
  10. ^^^ That doesn't make sense. They do what you want and impose sanctions for protest but you still hate them.

You bitches need to get over it. Stop being such hater geezers.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I support the Chiefs if they can win more than one wildcard game!

    ReplyDelete
  12. ^^^ Chiefs are going to be on fire this year and not from this political shit. The team will go down in the history books as one of the best. Real FANS and not fanboys know this political shit is just a distraction.

  14. Interesting comments. Kind of reminds me of the MU situation. Might be too little to late. Then again, I don't think it's the protests that really hurt the NFL, there are just too many other entertainment options around.

  15. Be interesting to see & watch just how many IDIOTS will continue to line up and "PAY outrageous Parking Fee's over at Arrowhead Stadium" !!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Shouldn't we also require everyone to recite the Pledge of Allegiance as well as sing the National Anthem? Can't get anymore patriotic than that at a SPORTING EVENT.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Black man NFL SHITTY players can still protest against American human beings on the field , they will just be fined $ 20,000 for their bullshit . The owners own the teams and are justified to dictate how these employees behave , no first amendment rights infringement , just penalties for in - American behavior !¡!¡

  18. know your rights.5/23/18, 11:16 PM

For such flag waving goons, I'm really surprised there are only a couple of very good comments about free speech and the right to protest. If a millionaire super start doesn't have that right then what chance to you have? This is workplace tyranny and it's coming to your place of business very soon.

  19. Coerced displays of patriotism are just as phony as our dictator & his spy-gate, deep state paranoia.

There will be a lot of players taking a knee this year, & not to just protest against unarmed black men being executed by the police, but because they know their constitutional rights are being trampled by this fascist regime.

    Resist!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Why should it be so hard for millionaire athletes to show some patriotism? Really says a lot about our society that we can't even play a game without such vitrol. - Hank T.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Dear, your the one who lacks knowledge...there is no constitutional right to free speech at work.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Just as I figured. The phony patriot who talked a big game lacked the balls to respond. Typical of phony patriots.

    ReplyDelete
  23. The whole protest had pretty much died out. Better to leave it alone and move on. This is a direct challenge to some.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Opinion worthless if difference between "your" and "you're" not known.

    ReplyDelete
  25. now only if they could sing the anthem the correct way

    ReplyDelete
  26. Who gives a flying fuck. Do you dip shits get pissed at the guy standing in the beer line during the anthem? How bout the guy taking a piss? You ignore, eventually players quit kneeling, now, they've just prolonged the issue. The NFL and their owners will be just fine either way.

And don't give me that bullshit, "I couldn't do that at my work so why should they?" There's no other workplace outside of sports that plays the anthem before every event. Just quit playing it and problem solved.

    Kneel, don't kneel, I don't care and I'll still watch/attend.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Amen^^ Me too. Those phony bastards who complain about it, never picked up weapon and walked a post. Assholes fail to understand that our flag means you can do whatever the fuck you want when the anthem is played. Anyone who says or feels otherwise is un-American.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Shoot, it was the most exciting part of the game.
