A week of horny government disgrace forces a cautious tone among the denizens of the mainstream local discourse. Accordingly, take a look at talkers on Kansas City's GOLD STANDARD of political discourse trying not to blush.

Here's the description . . .

"Mike Shanin interviews KCMO 6th District City Councilman Kevin McManus to get an update on city issues and projects. Mary Anne Murray Simons, Danedri Herbert, Jason Grill and Crosby Kemper III discuss the latest developments in the Eric Greitens scandal, the future of the beleaguered American Jazz Museum and a recent march pushing for local control of the Kansas City Police Department."

  1. Greitens is a man's man. Much stronger than any politician. He will win!

    1. ^^^ Doubtful, the cuckold has been cucked by his own party. They'll have to impeach him but that will assure that he'll never be able to hold another political office in his life. And it'll also drag Hawley down with him. Come to think of it, he could have a great future as a Democratic Senator.

  2. Gotcha! He should have got drunk, drove off a bridge, killed a poor innocent woman, swam off (Navy seal, duh!), 40yr career in US Senate, Presidential candidate.

Councilman McManus was asked 3 questions by Shanin that touched on the issue of race and he whiffed at all of them! It's a very poor reflection on one's character when you're an elected official, yet afraid to speak candidly on the issues because you fear alienating someone with your opinion.

Jason Grill and Mary Anne Murray My Name Is Too Long Simons??? Why are these 2 people repeatedly invited on this show?

Jason Grill commenting at all on the Gov. Greitens situation is "deplorable", as Grill himself was accused of rape as a newly elected State Representative. We've read the details Mr. Sock.

Directly in contrast to Mr. McManus' waffling dialogue, on the question of 18th and Vine, behold Crosby Kemper 3's direct honest statement! Perhaps one of the best responses to a Ruckus question in months! Begin at the 14:00 mark.

Quickly following up on his 18th and Vine dissection, Kemper returns at 19:20 with another BRILLIANT critique of AWOL civic leadership. Enjoy folks, Kemper's dishing out the real truth in this episode. Now, if we could only persuade him to serve as KCMO Mayor, Governor, or U.S. Senator.

But wait, Kemper is on fire tonight! His ROAST of the Jackson County Legislature as Ground Zero for FAILURE provides a fitting nightcap for this episode.

  4. Kemper was on point! I love how he said we should give the whole area back to the Indians! I haven’t laughed that hard in years! And he also said angrily that toy train was gonna fix everything, I haven’t seen him pissed off ever and boy was he tonight! That was truly good shit from him right there!

The big white girl wont be back because she spoke the truth about black murderers.

  5. Kemper will never serve as Mayor or Senator for God's sake!
The Koch/Sinquefield/Kemper Combine OWNS Mayors and Senators!

You know Greitens is "cooked" if one of his Bosses is publicly saying he should resign!

  6. Local control of the police will never happen. Those calling for it have zero clout in the legislature. If there were going to be any real chance there must be an effort from the business community.
