NCR broke the story, we talked about the controversy yesterday and now the newspaper attempts to play advocate for a situation that's mostly resolved . . . You decide . . .
An anti-gay activist is trying to divide Kansas City's Catholic flock
Bishop James V. Johnston, Jr. of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph has canceled an upcoming concert at Visitation Church by Dan Schutte, a renowned composer of church hymns. The decision has upset many parishioners who believe the decision was a response to pressure exerted by an anti-gay website.
She’s insane
ReplyDeleteSorry, but the gay lifestyle is not in accordance with Catholic doctrine. It’s not hate, it’s our religion and the proper way to live. Gays are welcome to come to mass, just not receive communion until they change their behavior. If you don’t like that, you don’t have to participate.
ReplyDeleteFuck that!
ReplyDeleteHe's probably gay.
ReplyDelete@10:38, Which page of the Catholic doctrine approves turning a blind eye to the clergy molesting children? I’m sure if Schutte gave more money to the church his sexuality would suddenly become a nonissue. With the right donation, any obstacle can be overcome.
ReplyDeleteOh, I’m not turning a blind eye. I’m running them out! Including the anti-pope Francis!
DeleteTake away their tax breaks
ReplyDelete6:46, why?
ReplyDeleteSo the government...both Repubs and Democrats...can have more money for their endless wars and social experiments?
Fuck dat.
Sanchez, the liberal Democrat Party/Media Matters propaganda agent makes much ado about nothing.
ReplyDeleteIf the church doesn't want a homosexual composer performing in their facility, they have every right to make that decision. And, if enough people want to hear this man perform locally, they can arrange to host him at a venue of their choice. It's that simple.
Of course, Mary Sanchez will continue seeking every opportunity to promote the Liberal, Democrat Socialist, Big Brother, pro-homosexual, anti-gun, pro-identity politics agenda.
You all still have a that pope thing going ?
ReplyDelete....and the greatest of these is love...unless you're gay.
ReplyDeleteLove the sinner, hate the sin
DeleteOur church has been taken over by criminals.
