Local progressive radio listeners must attempt to determine if this is all media spin or the beginning of a movement . . . Meanwhile, local school complaints don't just focus on guns but lack of opportunity and stress . . . Read more:
What Happens When Teens 'Pick Up The Reins And Protest'
Student activists have taken the lead on conversations about gun control after last month's school shooting in Parkland, Florida. Their calls to action have spurred youth demonstrations across the country, including here in Kansas City. How are teenagers organizing so effectively, and what should parents know about their own kids' interest in social activism?
Hate to tell the kiddies but gun reform won't change a thing. And as adults we should be educating the kids by explaining to them how this isn't the step that will gain the most results. I bet if you were to ask most kids what gun laws were already in place they probably couldn't even tell you.

ReplyDeleteI don't think that kid knows the power of prayer!
These kids may never be able to tell their ass from a hole in the ground, or shit from shinola. Maybe their verbal and math skills are at grade level or better, but their critical thinking skills are stuck in pre-school.
ReplyDelete@ 6:44, I'm pretty sure all of the people killed were praying fervently, but like most prayers, the results were...(crickets)...
ReplyDeleteLove these kids!! The next generation rules! Hate to break it to you stupid Dave, you and your generation will be dead soo and good riddance! These kids are better than you all!
ReplyDeleteSo glad these kids, with the help of their Progressive/Democrat/Fascist thought leaders are able to give us all the benefits of their inexperience.
ReplyDeleteA real fuckin sea change, no doubt.
^^^God love them. You and yours are done chuck. About time. “The most worthless generation”
ReplyDeleteIt's sad to watch clueless adult "activists" not be able to help these young people learn and understand the difference between activities and results.
ReplyDeleteIt takes some time and considerable effort to learn enough about an issue to be able to make serious thoughtful proposals and recommendations and not just protest about something that you don't like.
It also takes attention spans greater than a gnat's, which can certainly be a challenge for the social media set.
The young people's energy would be much more effective if there wer some adult supervision and leadership.
What's today's hashtag?
7:17 since it's the likes of you thats teaching them I serious doubt they will be leaders but more like destroyers of all mankind.
ReplyDelete^^^^God that was fucking dumb.
Delete^^^^Shut up geezer. Nobody’s listening to you. Old people talk too much and never listen, just like you. Blah blah blah. Old people’s energy would be better spent watching Matlock than running their overflowing mouths.
ReplyDeleteKids ended the Vietnam War. Keep giving the kids a reason to rally and vote. Keep calling them stupid and not trying to win them over or bridge a gap. You realize the snowflakes were raised that way by people your age right? The kids didn't ban dodgeball at school, adults your age did. Boomers were the people filing suit, using boomer lawyers, and seeing a boomer judge that ruled against all the school districts, forcing them to go zero tolerance because the superintendent didn't want to find himself in court. I'll always wonder how the greatest generation raised the worst generation. You have fucked up wages, the job market, housing, tuition, the environment, and politics. The kids haven't been able to fuck anything up like you have and they're tired of getting shot at school, the nerve of those little bastards. Yeah I know the boomers ended Vietnam but you became the corporate whores you pretended to hate. Those same kids might just reinstate the social security and Medicare Republicans are determined to take away from you too.

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't pop the corks just yet shitheel.
If everyone is waiting for someone like you to escort me to the door, then they might want to have a seat, pop some corn and get comfortable.
These children that you spit on as they try to change the world are immune to your consultations. They’re quite aware of what they’re going through.
Delete^^^^God that was fucking dumb.
ReplyDeleteWeak stupid Dave. In addition to being thin skinned, you’re also creatively bankrupt.
DeleteIt will be interesting to see the viewpoints of these kids as they mature. I remember plenty of liberal opinions I had as a kid that changed when I entered the real world.
ReplyDelete^^^Well that’s unfortunate you sold out and died inside. Not all of the youth of today are as pathetic as you
DeleteHa! Says the shallow, tunnel-visioned, crap-obsessed ass pimple who feels it necessary to rebuff every conflicting opinion with the same predictable repertoire. Sorry my little dingleberry.
DeleteHa! Says the idiotic know-it-all aged has-been who feels it necessary to respond to a more creative and frankly funnier poster with the same sad creativity bankrupt responses. Sorry my dotard.
DeleteWhen you post ANYTHING insightful, funny, clever or creative I will be the first to congratulate you, seriously. In the meantime, I’m curious what your young, hip, MENSA pals do while you troll my fellow geezers and me 24/7?
DeleteCollege kids need "safe spaces" and are usually unable to find their (fat) ass with both hands, so now were expected to respect the opinions of HIGH SCHOOL children ?! Fucking Please !
ReplyDeletePants-shitting geezers need to complain on a blog because they have no family or friends. They are usually bitter because they are not as smart as the next generation. So now we are expected to respect the opinions of people who shit their pants!!!! Fucking please!!!
ReplyDeleteDude, for real ... I don’t give a fiddler’s fuck what your opinions are; you’re entitled to them. But you really do need some professional help with your shit obsession. I bet you were/are one of those kids who smears it on the wall, eats it and God only knows what else. Before you spout back thinking I’m just picking on you, I’m not. But it’s clear you have a problem far more serious then politics or public opinion. Get help, please!

ReplyDeleteIt's Tar Baby humor. It probably gets a big laugh east of Troost where a nuanced pronunciation and inflection of the imprecation "Muthafukka" gets a big laugh from the street side brain trusts on every corner.
Studies show that some feces is a good thing--I think it's two glasses a day, or something like that.
ReplyDeleteThat blonde on the right looks 18. Oh yeah....
ReplyDelete8:43..... Wow. Shit licker.
ReplyDeleteThat^^^^^^^
ReplyDeleteThe kids actually read the 2nd amendment. They understand the NRA has lied to the public. Chief Justice Burger pointed out the NRA has committed a fraud with their misinterpretation.
ReplyDeleteIt's not a guaranteed universal constitutional right. The right extends to a "well regulated militia" defending the free state. Not to civilians. Not for hunting or sporting.
Bans and other restrictions are coming and they are legal. Nothing unconstitutional about it.
Wrong again bucko! But keep your right to blabber bullshit. It's what the 2nd guarantees. Cool, huh?
ReplyDeleteMajority of those Degenerate pathetic Commies would PROTEST using Toilet Paper to WIPE their own Ass, just to be protestin' !!!!!
ReplyDelete"COMMIES" again Crazy Clown?
ReplyDeleteAre you saying these kids are like other "Commies"?
You know, like PUTIN and XI and KIM, the ones your "beloved Leader", Cadet Bonespurs admires so much and is constantly praising?.
When all the guns have been banned,
ReplyDeleteWhen all the words have been censored,
When all the history has been erased,
When all the freedom has been taken,
When all the people have been loaded into boxcars,
Only then will you discover why our right to bear
arms was so high on the list.
The 2nd amendment doesn't guarantee the 1st.
ReplyDeleteThe rule of law does.
Democracy is not enforced by the barrel of a gun.
Geeeezit shut those brats up.
