Two of the victims are clinging to life according to authorities.
Police responded to the shooting about 6:20 a.m. in the 800 block of Walnut Street.
First reports from the scene claim it's related to nightlife but the area is also crawling with hobos as well.

KMBC: Police investigating after 3 injured in early morning shooting at downtown comedy club
KSHB: Police said the two shooting victims are men, ages 26 and 36. It was the 26-year-old's birthday Saturday night, and he was shot twice.
KCTV5: Police went to Stanford's Comedy Club on a call that said there was a disturbance. When officers arrived, they found one victim lying on the floor of the bar. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
