The controversial cornerback and national anthem protester has a clean slate according to Coach Reid but fans might not be so forgiving . . . You decide:
Andy Reid says the Chiefs are starting from scratch with Marcus Peters
Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters was suspended for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders. There is no disputing that the Chiefs looked better than they have in a long time throughout the 26-15 win.
He was suspended for yelling at a coach. They say that he is remorseful.
ReplyDeleteAs for his protests. This is a game for the AFC west and the playoffs. If he can't keep himself under control. He should forget about playing in KC.
Second chance? More like fifth chance. Trade him to Cleveland. Chiefs are 1 and done in the playoffs, if they make it at all.
ReplyDeleteNo.
ReplyDeleteThe rest of our secondary is worthless. Peters does not deserve any more chances. But I am sure he will be playing.
ReplyDeleteOf course he does. That's what this country is based on. Don't like it or agree...get out.
ReplyDeleteIt's not about second chances or him being remorseful. He simply lacks the discipline to control his actions and it will happen again and again.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteNO
He hasn’t learnt his lesson yet, make him sit out another. It was obvious from last game how much better the defense is without him, first place is on the line and we don’t need his dumbass giving up multiple touchdowns
ReplyDeleteSure, give him another chance.
ReplyDeleteStart losing again.
@7:30AM -what are you prepared to do about it?....(crickets)...thought so. Get back to your kiddie porn. Adults are talking.
ReplyDeleteHell No
ReplyDeleteLoosing 5 outta 6 is reason enough to clean house, get him outta there, Cant control his punk ass attitude , gotta go,
ReplyDeleteWell, if he sits out another game, & they lose then Tony won't write a bunch of nonsense about how this was some magic formula to success. According to Tony these choke artists are Super Bowl caliber, if they just bench Peters. It's exactly the kind of magical thinking you'd expect from a religious fanatic, & arm chair patriot.
ReplyDeleteI hate to break it to you, guys, but Andy Reid probably doesn't read this blog, & he probably doesn't care what peasants think about anything.
What to the Kansas City Atheist Polyamorous Tranny Lovers think.
ReplyDeleteI'd go to some of their meetings if the women were better looking.
Delete with extreme prejudice.
ReplyDeleteReid is a dinosaur. Couldn't win in Philly and he was run out of town. Agree, one and done if they make the playoffs. Chiefs can off a package of Reid & Peters to any other team.
ReplyDeleteFuck You Funkhouser
ReplyDeleteTrade him to another team for a decent player or a first round draft pick.
ReplyDeleteI'm tired of his antics and him disrespecting the flag tops it off.
go to another country if you don't like this one is what I say.
But his protest has nothing to do with the flag dummy. I'm tired of idiots misinterpreting his antics. You not knowing the difference tops it all off. You go to another country because you're frankly too stupid to live in this one. That's what I say!
ReplyDeleteSaying the protest has nothing to do with the flag is like saying Rosie O’Donnell should be a role model for Weigh Watchers. For any Veteran- just ask them. Most are surprised he is still employed- I know some that won’t watch another NFL GAME. It comes down to not what you want something to stand for- but what the vast majority of the people who pay your wages think.
ReplyDeleteIf the company you work for plays The National Anthem and you protest (insert your pet idiosyncratic peeve here) by taking a knee, pretty sure you won’t get another chance... no such rights in employment.
Even with player safety- the NFL can’t get it right- a guy has uncontrolled twitches after his head is hit- and he goes back into the game.
Keep Peters all you want- but what message does that send to kids about sportsmanship?
Hey 11:17AM -I'm a veteran-and I don't mind at all. As a matter of fact dummy, that's what I went to Iraq twice, and Afghanistan once for, the right to do whatever, say whatever, and protest whatever! His protest and others like it-including Colin Kapernik are what makes America great. Speak for yourself because you damn sure don't speak for me.
ReplyDeleteLet him keep protesting and throw flags in the stands.
ReplyDeleteGreat message for kids and veterans alike.
We will see how it works out for him in the end. I am sure sports games are the proper venue for social change.
Great dialogue and hope he enjoys his time off after this year.
Hey 11:30, Thank you man!
ReplyDeleteMarcus Peters doesn't mKe America wonderful, he promotes racial hostility and is a nwa, n with out a cause, they play grab and for more money than god, in a white built nation, put his money where his loud mouth is and go form a black justice nation in Africa where he can be Safe from evil racist Europeans ,,no chance, a low IQ nwa, only bred to raise hostility, and you white cuckolds finger yourself to these donkeys every sunday
ReplyDeleteOf course these anthem-haters have the right to express themselves in public. But they aren't doing it 'on the clock' if they want to sell tickets, AKA keep their jobs.
ReplyDeleteTry throwing a your ass in the air for so called social justice while working for UPS, WalMart any other employer. You'd get your ass fired, because people aren't doing business with you to watch a clown show.
ReplyDeleteLink to article about Peter's suspension at UW
Hey 11:30 - I'm a veteran too, and I do mind it. As a matter of fact dummy, I did a year in Iraq, a year in Afghanistan, and six months in Kuwait to defend our country.
ReplyDeleteI did NOT do it to be subjected to an idiot spouting his political beliefs on my private time. It's like going to the supermarket and the cashier telling you why you should support a higher minimum wage, when you just want to pay for some food.
Speak for yourself, because you damn sure don't speak for me.
^^^^^^Speak for yourself...you damn sure don't speak for me. I wonder why all these posters haven't figured that yet?? Yet another poster telling us what he feels on the matter. Clue: we don't care what you think! Save your self righteous indignation. Hmmmm.
ReplyDelete^^^ then what the fuck are YOU doing here commenting, ass clown? You're on every damn story on TKC, playing hallway monitor. Get lost.
ReplyDelete^^^^^Pro tip: Nobody reads a whining little bitch like you. At least 2:31 has an original opinion. You don’t. You eat everybody’s shit.
ReplyDeleteWe need to be more sensitive to Mr Dicks.. I mean Peters.
ReplyDeleteHe reads stuff about and it affects him so- I can see Barface.. I mean Marcus- go to CVS and buy out all the Kleenex boxes.
I understand he is very tired since he used all of his season energy the first 5 games.
He saves so much energy at the beginning of a game by taking a knee- which he learned in college for other stuff and caused him to miss grammar school while growing up... which I am sure he will do while looking for employment next year... he will be happy to know the very minimum wage is $15.. which will help him when he is flat broke like other former players.
I am sure Kaperneck will let him be Time magazine doofus- I mean person of the year... assuming Trump turns it down again.
Hopefully Chiefs fans will forgive the millionaire Dicks... I mean Peters and pay $15 a beer after paying $40 to park. He is worth a 4th and 5th chance if for no other reason than insanity.
Go Chiefs and go Peters... and may soon you depart so BeastMode can save Peter's soul from Lucifer
^^^^^^^^^^ Pro-tip: nobody reads pro-tips, especially from a loser like you that positively comments on his own posts and thinks no one knows. GFY
