A campaign committee angling to put a minimum wage increase on next year's Missouri ballot has received more than $500,000 from several nonprofit groups. These contributions come amid a fierce debate over politically active nonprofits' influence on elections. Such groups are not required to reveal their contributors or how they spend their money.
Those seeking higher wages will only work less hours because they don't want to lose their low income freebies.

ReplyDeleteLets revoke the non-profits 501c status for engaging in political activities. Then when they are back paying taxes lets force THEM to pay $15.00 per hour. They can show us all how it is supposed to work.
