Man arrested at Lenexa storage facility charged with abandoning wife's corpse, endangering children
A 35-year-old man has been charged with felonies in connection with dismembering and abandoning his wife's corpse, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced Wednesday. Justin Rey faces felony charges of abandonment of a corpse and endangering the welfare of a child for his actions in the case.
I'm no legal expert, but if he was found with the body in Lenexa, how is he facing charges in JaCoMo and not JoCoKs?
ReplyDeleteThe good news is that he kept her in a YETI cooler so her body is still in rather remarkable shape.
ReplyDeleteHow is carrying the remains in a tote bag abandoning? Thank God the Lenexa police are all over this... God forbid anyone else comes up missing and the Lenexa police are needed to find them alive.
ReplyDeleteHe do look kwazzy.
ReplyDeleteThis guy is looking more and more creepy like Byron is. has anyone seen Byron's wife? I she cut up and in a cooler or inside a piano? Meanwhile who is cashing her checks if it is so?
ReplyDeleteBilerun has a husband.
ReplyDeleteI would assume some mental illness. Just send him to Larnard. I'm sure he cannot be sane to stand trial in either place. Mo. will have to extradite him after ks is done with him. Not even sure what charges they can throw at him, if he didn't murder her, only dismembered her and didn't report the death.
