  4. Not too sympathetic given the quality of work they produce. Most of them just phone in their defense anyway. I hope I never have to depend on a public defender. It's a rubber-stamp defense.

  5. This doesn't seem like that many defenders for as many people need them.

  6. Why should I have to pay to defend bums?

I work like a dog and never qualified for Obamacare subsidies...but that is not keeping the insurance companies and doctors taking every dime I have, with the aid of LAWYERS.

And then some stupid criminal...and they are stupid...can't afford a decent lawyer and wants a free one?

    FUCK. THEM.

  7. Disagree with the above. We need to increase the number of public defenders and we also need to pay them better.

  8. Ironic that they are whining about not having the time to serve their current clients, yet they have the time for damn near their entire staff to sit on their asses and do nothing but stage this "protest" that will gain them absolutely nothing.

  9. I get pissed off over my caseload every time I get a ticket in the speed trap of the plains.
