Johnson County Storage Container Resident Confronts Charges For Abject Poverty

This unfortunate dude hasn't been charged in connection with a dead body also found near his ramshackle residence where he was living and so authorities have decided that confronting him with jail time is the best solution to his problems. Read more:

The man police arrested for sleeping in his storage unit with his babies went in front of a judge at Johnson County Courthouse on Friday. Justin Rey has been charged with two counts of child endangerment and two counts of contributing to a child's misconduct.

Pretty sad. Even if a body was found in a separate unit on the same property, the storyline is not providing a link between the povery case and death investigation. The bond does seem unreasonable if all they're claiming is poverty.
