TKC SATURDAY NIGHT PLAYLIST: ISN'T ALL KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE, HATE CRIME???

Not so long ago, there was a spate of deadly crime in Kansas City against transgender people but so-called Conservatives were not supportive of hate crime classification. Currently, a series of single-men killed at a gay sex trail has inspired international outrage against given an anti-white narrative and very little discussion of curious DNA evidence splattered all over a local park.

In the midst of this culture war conversation, Kansas City confronts an uptick in the homicide count and a lack of any real plan from local politicos to address the problem. For better or worse, there's one last, desperate hope that putting more police on neighborhood streets might improve the situation.

Still, at the risk of seeming ridiculous, we'd like to remind Kansas City residents that murder in all of its forms is wrong, hateful and a waste of life.

While some might argue that there's "a time to kill" . . . So many homicides on local streets aren't acts of conscience, warfare or justice. Most of the local murder is just people arguing about pointless stuff and then turning guns on one another.

Nevertheless . . . The subject of hate has distracted locals from corporations looting City Hall this week and so tonight's playlist is comprised of some of our favorite tunes on this topic.

The songs are accompanied by just a bit of explanation to avoid misunderstanding despite the fact that Americans are mired in a constant racial debate that rarely leads to agreement and usually ends up with EVERYONE playing the bad guy . . .

To start, a few bars from Eddie Murphy's classic which serves as the narrative for the Indian Creek murder story circulated by the MSM and authorities . . .



Next up . . . GnR 90s classic rock hateration . . . The problem with this song is that it's actually pretty good despite a hateful nihilistic story of a broke-ass impoverished white dude angry whilst lingering around a bus station. Side note, Slash has some great insights on playing lead guitar on this song as a bi-racial dude that basically blew off the controversy and eschewed the ephemeral nature of the media spotlight.



And then . . . A "very nice" Borat song offers just a bit of satire to offer another clear demonstration of haters getting clowned by their own angry instincts . . . 



Not quite as popular as the rest, this tragic clip reminds us that even condescending admiration can be kinda racist . . .



Finally, a bit of unity and one of our all time favorite songs that mocks longstanding culture war with an iconic chorus and melody.
